Club Regina Puerto Vallarta

We were not able to travel to the hotel due to civic unrest in Puerto Vallarta (all flights cancelled, airport closed).

I called the hotel to alert them from Mexico City, and they informed me that they would not have been able to honor the reservation anyway, as no one could leave the hotel or the city. I am still waiting for a refund from the property (who tells me Booking.com is responsible) or Booking (who tells me the hotel is responsible). To be clear, the charge on my Amex was made by the hotel, not Booking--I agree with Booking, but the hotel is incredibly unresponsive.

la habitacion y jacuzzi estaban super bien , no es culpa del hotel pero si nos arruino la experiencia que un pajaro gigante hizo sus necesidades alado del jacuzzi y apesto todo el lugar, a pesar que limpiaron dos veces hizo que ya no nos metieramos de nuevo al jacuzzi que fue la razon por la cual reserve esa habitacion, la playa esta padre sea privada pero las rocas y el hecho que hay mil alertas de cocodirlos, erizos y medusas si hace que no te den ganas

El lugar está precioso, el personal es super amable y en general todo está puesto para que te relajes y disfrutes de la alberca y el mar, justo lo que yo buscaba

La habitación era bastante sencilla: fue raro que la cama no tuviera una cabecera real y estuviera pintada en la pared y parecía haber sido remodelada sin mucha atención al estilo general del lugar y los objetos anteriores

We have just returned from our 6th stay at this hotel. We have never been disappointed. We love the proximity to all of the fabulous restaurants at the Marina, the pools, the beach and especially the staff. We are always well taken care of by everyone we interact with. Special shout out to Alberto - bellman extraordinaire!! He has become a friend we look forward to seeing every year. Thanks also to Job, Cesar, Rodrigo, Angel, Jorge, Iris and Montserrat. See you all again soon

Beach access and staff

Awesome staff so helpful and friendly making all kinds of accommodations necessary to fit our needs. A special shout out to Alberto the bell hop he took care of all of transportation needs and going extra mile for not just getting our luggage to the room but taking care of our extra needs while there. Also to the front desk team in the complicated different moves we needed when it came to switching rooms and expedite service.

A 3 month stay. It is a good break from winter. The shelter-in-place was well managed by staff. Unplanned but fabulous care- family member does mountain biking he wiped out into bushes and Good Samaritans with a truck brought he and bike back 20 miles to PV where his shattered hip was replaced at Hospiten. After 6 weeks he is ready to bike again.
