Happy hour discontinued at the pool!🤬. Updating rooms is sorely needed - very uncomfortable sofas and chairs for tv viewing.

Booked by mistake and notified the hotel within 7 hrs of booking and asked to cancel and refund. I was told: "We understand your request; however, the reservation was confirmed under a non-refundable rate, as stated at the time of booking. According to the cancellation policy agreed upon during the reservation process, modifications or cancellations are not eligible for a refund" Not customer focused. I'll file a formal complaint.

The place is falling apart and needs a lot of work. I loved RVC for over 20 Yrs. I am not going to renew my contract. New owners are terrible and rude.

This trip, there was the good, the bad and ugly. First the good: We are Raintree members and have been staying at Club Regina, Puerto Vallarta for over 25 years. We have always had excellent service. We were pleasantly surprised to be assigned one of the newly update club suites. What an amazing transformation. The front desk people that checked us in were excellent. As always, Giovanni at the pool towel desk was a highlight and takes excellent care of his area. Now for the bad: The service at the pool and Inizio's was lacking. It seems as if there are not enough servers at the pool or at Inizios. It was quite a long time between ordering (whether drinks or food) until we received our order. We like to go to Inizios for drinks after dinner. Most times, it wasn't a problem. There were plenty of open tables. One evening, we were told we could only sit at the bar, that tables were for people ordering dinner only. There were more than 10 empty tables. We left. I went to the front desk to inquire about this and the evening shift supervisor rudely said that tables were only for people ordering food. His impolite and dismissive attitude was the first time we have had an issue with any supervisor. Now for the ugly: We were there during the burning of cars, buses and OXXO's. I want to give a big shout out to the employees that stayed and helped guests, whether giving information or helping to feed the guests, These employees deserve much credit for staying up to 48 hours and taking care of the guests. It appears that since Raintree has been taken over by Royal Holiday, we no longer have the ability to purchase extra nights to lengthen our stay. The website is no longer user friendly and it always says to "contact your Raintree representative". When I do that, I get less than helpful information.

Loved the location, convenience to the Metro, and many food choices for every budget. The apartment is well stocked, clean, beautifully decorated and safe. There's an elevator and a washing machine.

I liked everything!

Been here many times in the past. THis time will be our last. We were not happy with the rooms, quality and cleaniness. The location was awful. We had to change rooms. BUt - still had to stay in our dark dingy loud room for 3 nights until the change was finally made. THat was half of our vacation. Not a great experience.

Upkeep of buildings was not great. Elevators out of service for more than a month. Noisy weddings late into the night.

My wife and I have been visiting the Club Regina in Puerto Vallarta for about 25 years and the experience never disappoints. The weather in January is always perfect, the facility is ideally located by the marina and an excellent golf course, with exceptional resort staff. These are the reasons we come back year after year, great weather, excellent cuisine and numerous choices for activities, golf, beach, fishing, reading and long walks. For us, this is an ideal vacation location.
