Straight off the motorway. Good selection for breakfast room was very clean

A courtesy call half hour before checking out to remind me that checking out was in half hour!

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was very good and we found everything we wanted

Location was ok

I arrived check in ok went to my room which was like a sauna heating set at 18 degrees I couldn’t change it rang reception they said they turn it down there end, waited 20 mins still no change in room temp it was unbearable, rang again asked for a fan they said they would look for one, no one brought one to me just ignored me, terrible night. Went for breakfast and both coffee machines were out of order so had to have coffee from flasks. No planning for weather conditions at all.

We were given two rooms ,neither had air conditioning that works. The only excuse they gave was they didn’t have anyone that could fix it!

We booked for 2 adults and 1 infant (6 months old). On arrival at 4pm I checked with reception that the cot was assembled in the room. They checked the system and said that there was a note on the booking requesting a cot and so therefore it should be in the room. We went to the room and there was no cot and the room smelt of stale BO (205). I went back down to reception and told Anthony/Tony on reception (who had checked us in), he double checked the system and confirmed the cot request but said all of their cots were currently in use. I told them we had to leave for a wedding but wouldn't be back until 11pm so they had time to sort or go source a new one. He confirmed they would get this sorted and took my number to keep me updated. We left by 5.45 and checked on the way down with Anthony/reception they had a plan sorted as I had not received an update. He told me it was my fault because I had not booked a cot and they can not provide one. This completed contradicted being told twice it was on the system. They offered no other solution and we had to leave. On return my partner had to arrange with the poor night manager who was left no handover and only on his 3rd day an additional room for my partner to sleep in so I could share with our son. While this was happening new arrivals were trying to check in, however people were being sent to occupied rooms and waking up guests asleep. My brother and his wife in another room were woken up at 1am too. I would avoid and look at other options nearby.

Nice breakfast and the room was ok

Dinner service was not great, the food was not cooked properly, and the portions were very small for the price we paid
