Holiday Inn Derby Nottingham M1 J25 by IHG

We were staying the night as we were picking a car up. We were really surprised how nice it was for the price. Staff were all lovely the food was really nice and the rooms spotless and comfortable. If I was wanting a break on a long journey I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly welcome. Very clean. Excellent breakfast.

Only stayed the 1 night to start our honeymoon and to meet up with family the next morning for breakfast and to spend sometime with them before heading of home. Thanks guys

The hotel needs some updating. Should have charger points by the beds. Noisy doors, so kept awake until 1am Breakfast was good, although no gluten-free bread was available, just pre packed rolls.

I stay at this hotel fairly regularly as it’s handy to the M1, staff are always very friendly but the thing that lets it down is the tired rooms, there’s clearly been an upgrade to reception/bar/dining but rooms need updating

Perfect location, very reasonable price, excellent staff. Breakfast was decent and very much worth the £80ish a night we paid.

Although the front of this hotel looks a bit like "crossroads" the actual hotel and facilities are good. Staff on reception were really friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a twin room and we both thought the mattrasses were really comfy (more than our own at home!) Towels provided were good and bathroom/shower good. There were black marks around the shower etc but who doesn't have them at home as well. Location was great, just off the motorway so easy to get to but no road noise heard at all. Walls are thin so you can hear if your neighbour has a tinkle in the bathroom but you find that at most hotels anyway. Didn't try breakfast so can't comment on that but they left some ginger biscuits in the room and they were yummy. Would stay here again.

Good location handy for Wollaston hall

I stay at this hotel quite regularly & the staff are always really friendly & helpful. Over the last couple of years there’s clearly been an upgrade to reception & the bar/dining area but unfortunately no money has been spent on the rooms… they are tired & not in great shape with chips out of the doors & carpets could go with a good clean, they just need a revamp
