Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oklahoma City Airport

It was great.

The outside of the hotel itself looked nice enough. Inside at the lobby desk was fine as well and service was nice. HOWEVER, once I got on the elevator, it was very unpleasant because it reeked of stinky old marijuana. I should not have been as surprised since there was a huge dispensary next door. And, I could understand if it was due to a recent person on the elevator but this was like long time old stinky smell. I got off on the 2nd floor and the hallway smelled the same. There was also some sticky mess spilled on the floor by the elevator that was there on Friday and still on Saturday. Thankfully, my room did not smell like the awful elevator and hallway. It was also mostly clean - only issues I saw were the bench cushion was dirty and there was a big dark stain on the chair cushion so I used a towel to sit on it. The bed and bathroom were clean. Overall, this was a quick stay and it was "OK" for the cheap price. However, due to the awful smells, I will not be booking here again.

The staff was rude and required an unadvertised deposit of $50. They wanted cash. Seemed sketchy to me. The pool and hot tub were closed. The breakfast was either cereal or waffle. That was the only options. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet and clean.
