The grounds are beautiful and the facilities are good. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious.

Booking.com advised our hotel would have a bath - it did not and they couldn’t move us, nor did staff offer anything to make up it. Just a blame game. The hotel feels like it’s perhaps seen better days in places, the Spa included. The staff seem overworked and stretched. £20 to get 1hr later check-out, despite the bath issue was an extra annoyance. Breakfast was well below the standard I’d expect.

a beautiful hotel with so much history. loved how our room was so spacious and the bathroom had a bidet. the view from the room was gorgeous . there were plenty of parking on the property.

minor things like no bellhop to carry our luggage to room epically since the elevator was out of order. there was a minor issue with the toilet the day we checked it was fixed the next day. the breakfast needs a lot of improvement; limited selection and very average. the coffee unfortunately was not good either.

Bit shabby in places

Location, with beautiful grounds and views over the Thames. The building had character and detailed decor which was spacious and had a relaxing feel both in the bedroom and corridors. Great breakfast with attentive staff. The spa had everything you could want and well throughout for all needs.

The restaurant had a very limited menu and portions were small.

the whole experience was lovely, we had treated ourselves to a night away for our 20year wedding aniversary. the staf were all very attentive and the room, Spa and grounds and breakfast were great.
