Really enjoyed this hotel. Room was amazing, I had a suite. Two bathrooms, huge sitting room. View over the lake was truly beautiful. This is really a resort, something to do with family or friends. Nice bed with good wifi. No problems, would stay anytime I go to this area again.

Pros: - Well designed rooms in a Chinese style and good lighting which makes it feel nice and homely. - Good location, close to the sites just to the north of west lake. Plenty of buses down to West lake and and tea plantations (Google maps is good for working out which bus to get and where to get off, but grossly overestimates how long they take - its much quicker than google says). - There's a bank right next to the hotel and a Wal-Mart under 10 mins walk away if you need to stock up on any essentials. Cons: - Terrible Wi-Fi - didn't work for me the whole trip so had to pay for mobile data. I've knocked a star off for this alone. - Bathtub was quite small for a suite, and not that comfortable.

This is a comfortable hotel with a great breakfast and super staff. From check-in to departure our stay was lovely and - as is our practice we kept extending day by day. Super shout out to Chaya in the business center who not only helped us with the bookings for our train journey to Shanghai - she went to the station and bought the tickets for us, staying in touch by WeChat so we had seats on a train we wanted and at a time that worked. She was awesome and her kindness to us really changed a good visit to Hangzhou, to a great visit. Sometimes when you travel there is one standout person - and here it was

Great hotel. European conceirge was a great help!

Positive - Close Proximity to West Lake. Good breakfast. Rooms are decent. Negatives - Do not line the smell smoke from other rooms on the floor. Rather far from decent food courts if you are a Westerner. Hard to get a taxi in the morning to the airport so must arrange through hotel staff and the price is much higher (180 RMB compared to 120 RMB taxi ride that I paid for from the airport).

Good hotel near the enchanting West Lake and a few good hiking locations. Service was generally good and the only suggestion I have for the hotel is to provide some good tea in the rooms. The restaurant's breakfast was good too.

They provide good breakfast with various cuisine style both Western as well as Chinese food. For moslem, be aware of fork ingredients as well as fork meat. The hotel is nice place to stay and tourism site across the street. You can hike and find nice tourism site by hiking the mountain towards West Lake. Along the journey you will find out various tourist attractions and aesthetics sites.
