Poseidon Athens

We liked the location with gorgeous 360 degree views of the Athens Riviera and mountains. Their rooftop restaurant was fantastic too. Breakfast buffet had good variety. Beds were very comfortable. Our only issue was the rooms temperature. With the air conditioners on at the coolest setting, it was not cool at all.

The hotel is conveniently located right across the street from the beach and near the Edem tram stop. The staff and service were excellent. The room itself was basic but clean, offering great sea views. Although it faced a noisy road, the soundproof doors prevented any disturbances inside. However, the air conditioner was not very effective; even on the coldest setting, it only blew out mildly cool air, which wasn't sufficient given the high temperatures. The rooftop pool and surrounding area were decent, though small and often crowded, which made it feel somewhat claustrophobic, especially in the heat. On a positive note, the food at the 7th-floor restaurant was very good, with generous portions and excellent value for money. The free breakfast in the lobby was plentiful and offered a good selection of hot and cold options, including made-to-order omelets and fruit. The surrounding area is lovely, featuring a massive beach and gorgeous sunsets, with easy access to downtown Athens in just 15 minutes. I would consider staying here again, but perhaps in one of the newer rooms.

Perfect Location and World Class Staff!

The rooms was clean and the view of the sea outstanding. The staff was extremely helpful. And the breakfast was delicious. We took the public transport into Athens City Center and it was very easy.

The room was comfortable. Food was good in restaurant and had nice view of beach. Beach is accessible across busy street but worth going. Hotel needs some updating

Nice location near the marina and easy to get into Athens via tram (40 mins) or Uber (20 mins). Rooftop pool is nice but gets busy.

Lovely hotel! Very close to the beach! Very tastedul greek breakfast. Warm and cold greek delicasies. Very friendly atmosphere! Air conditioning! Clean environment! Tram stop to the city center in front of the hotel. Wonderful pool at the roof! Warm recommendation to thsi hotel!

I stayed at a sea view room which was breathtaking to wake up to in the mornings so I highly recommend this option when choosing Poseidon Hotel. The staff were absolutely wonderful and made me feel safe and at home as a solo traveler. Christos the hotel manager was wonderful and welcoming, recommended the best wine and the best meal for a dinner sunset at the Hotel’s Sky Bar! Dimitris at the bar made sure to check up on me frequently and make sure I have everything I need. I couldn’t have wished for a better experience at the Poseidon Hotel!
