Great views from the rooms and restaurant. Roof top pool and bar were a nice addition. The Beach Club across the street was nice, and you get a discount for chair rental when staying at the hotel. Breakfast was varied and extensive. Hotel staff friendly and helpful.

The roof top was very cool! The room and beds were not as pictured. Patio was dirty.

Great location and staff. Rooms are a bit small but clean. Roof area with pool and bar is lovely. Our family enjoyed breakfast options.

WE ATE AT THE TAVERN RESTAURANT WHICH BELONGS TO POSEIDON HOTEL. THE LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT, THE WINE FINE UNTIL WE WERE SERVED WITH SOME BOUREKAKIA WHICH MY GUESS WAS THAT THEY WERE FRIED IN VERY OLD AND USED UP OIL. TERRIBLE STOMACH PAIN FOR THE NEXT 24 HRS MY FRIEND WHO DIDN'T EAT THEM WAS OK. ONLY ME, THE CALAMARI MEDIOCRE AND THE SARDINES WERE OK. SERVICE OK

Convenient location by the sea, with good variety of flavoursome food and cocktails, attentive service and great value for money. Poseidon offers comfortable rooms and a roof top with a pool with stunning views over the sea. We love it and highly recommended!

The Poseidon Athens was amazing! Great complimentary breakfast buffet, wonderful staff, beach across the street, grocery store next door, rooftop pool, bus and tram stop in front of hotel. Will be back!

A very average hotel with little to recommend. Situated next to a noisy six lane carriageway, the room had paper thin walls with very poor noise insulation, with continual shouting heard as guests phone their relatives to tell them about how average the place is. And kids screaming at all hours. Pool okay but very small, and difficult to walk around to sun loungers, where you have to balance on the side of the pool. Bar snacks take over 30 mins to arrive so your drink is warm by the time it arrives. Breakfast is bland and perfunctory, and you need to pay extra for espresso coffee. Bathroom toiletries not replaced or refreshed, and no fresh water bottles were given. As other reviews state the beds are very soft, mattresses feel cheap. Overall the review is just about three stars, as the room had carpet and I wasn’t robbed. But really only warrants two stars based on the cost of the room. Avoid this hotel, not good.

Poseidon Athens was a very comfortable hotel. The rooftop pool & bar were very nice. Having the beach across the street was perfect!
