The Equinox Golf Resort & Spa

If you haven't visited this historic hotel, please do. It is in a wonderful location , the service is great, but the rooms are the best..... Love it all. If it were closer, I would live here!

The views of the Taconic Mountains, the comfortably restored historic hotel, and recreational opportunities are excellent. And the staff is exceptional.

The oldness of the building and the history. The bed was very comfortable and the room was large.

The location was not near any stores or restaurants. Had to drive to downtown. The building is in need of repair and needs to TLC.

The staff goes about their business like clockwork and everything was pristine definitely would come back soon. Please continue to have our group convention here

We recently had a fantastic stay at the Equinox Resort and Spa. The accommodations were top-notch. Our dining experience was limited to the Marsh Tavern, as the Falcon Bar was under renovation and the Chop House was closed on the days we were there. But the food was incredible and the wait staff personable and professional. Each morning we had Ashley as our server. She was very friendly, remembered us, and gave recommendations based on our daily desires. She was great. We also would like to mention Maria, who we met at the Spa, checking us in. She remembered our names and all of the classes and spa treatments we had scheduled. She also hosted a very funny and casual Trivia Night in the Tavern. We felt very special given her friendly personality and excitement. As for the Fitness Classes, we were introduced to Yoga by Pauline, who slowly led us though a wonderful routine. We also has two Pilates Classes with Felicia, who took her time with us as we had never done these classes before. She was very vibrant, energetic, and engaging. An awesome experience. Lastly, we had a very thorough massage with Matt, along with a Blissful Touch Facial with Charon. I can't recall any of the front desk staff (sorry), but there were all very helpful, insightful, and friendly. Overall, a great experience for our first time at the Equinox.

I previously submitted a 2 Star review for this hotel as a result of a complaint I had regarding the failure to honor an expired gift certificate due to extenuating circumstances. Following that review, I was contacted by the General Manager (Jaques Baheux) who was sincerely apologetic. He is apparently new to the region and to the resort and was embarrassed by the response I received. He offered to host my entire family for a night at the resort, but when a thanked him but refused he advised he was going to honor the gift certificate and looked forward to meeting me in the future. This was the response I expected from the resort. I believe that with this new General Manger, the resort will improve its customer service and be a place people will be eager to visit.

Our weekend getaway at the Equinox is always a special treat for me and my husband. We have been coming here for years, whether it be with our daughter or just our dog. On this visit, we stayed in the North Wing. Our room was spacious, clean and even had a view of the mountains. We especial love the location where we have access to hiking trails, shops, restaurants and skiing. We took advantage of the hot tube and spa and enjoyed the live acoustic music in the lounge. The staff are always friendly and seem to really love working here. It is a bit pricey, but the specials are definitely worth it.
