The Equinox Golf Resort & Spa

What a lovely place to stay! The location has everything you need - breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. The spa is right on site and provides great services. Manchester is a lovely little town to visit. Lastly, the staff is so friendly and accommodating - definitely will visit again.

The spa has had issues in quality for over three years, since management was given to a third party. Cleanliness an issue in the pool area as well as the gym and the locker rooms. They didn’t even have hand sanitizer in the gym! Hopeful the new management of hotel takes over and fixes all the problems. So many have left disappointed

Room and facility was not what I expected

Great time with family grabbing a drink, food, and hearing some live music. Jaeden was great. Very helpful and personable. Love seeing him everytime we come here.

Our stay fell far short of expectations. We were never informed the hotel was effectively closed to guests due to a conference, leaving us without access to restaurants or amenities despite paying resort-level pricing. We spent over an hour finding food for our kids after arrival, our room had a strong mold-like odor, guest services never answered calls, and housekeeping never serviced the room during our stay. After raising these issues with multiple managers, no meaningful resolution was provided. This experience was unacceptable for a hotel of this level.

We were extremely excited to come stay at the equinox. We love historic hotels. We booked a Mountain View Coppola suite which is one of their nicer rooms. On first glance, it was awesome however, on closer inspection, things could easily have been fixed to make the room much nicer. Up where the mountain views were, they were appear to be hundreds ofdead wasps stuck between the in the windows and the screens.There was paint/drywall peeling off the ceiling in the bedroom near the bathroom and wallpaper peeling in the bathroom. All of that could been easily overlooked however, the heat in the room also did not work. there was a faux fireplace space heater that did not pump any heat and the central heat just circulated cold air. It took a longtime for anyone to respond to check it and in the end the solution, around 10 PM, was several space heaters which promptly tripped the breaker. I asked if we could sleep in another room with heat, but was told I would have to move all my items out of the room carry them downstairs then back upstairs, which with a family of four and two children was not appealing. On top of that they would be moving us to room with two queen beds rather than a comparable room. Everybody was generally very friendly, but it would be nice if they had offered some sort of compensation for the inconvenience, perhaps a complimentary breakfast or covering our dinner bill both of which we ate at the hotel. Something to make up for the fact that the temperature in our room was in the upper 50° range for the majority of our stay.

The Spa at Equinox was great. Laura was very professional at the desk with great customer service. The amenities were nice and a great way to spend a day off of the mountains.

Jaeden is the best and took great care of us! He makes a mean Diet Coke!

Jaeden was the after party bartender and gave excellent service and made amazing drinks!
