From the moment we arrived we were disappointed. We rented the three bedroom town house, the vents are filled with dust, it seems like no attempt was made to make any of the spaces attractive. One of our doors did not work so we were not able to use one of the rooms, eventually they opened it but the keycard never worked. We asked three people to have housekeeping come while we were out of the room, they never came, when I asked why they said housekeeping doesn’t service the townhouses (even though I specifically asked this when I called the reservation line). When I told them the reservation line said housekeeping does service the townhouses they said this happens all the time the reservation line doesn’t know anything. James the manager was lovely and apologetic but every other staff member we encountered seemed miserable and put off that someone was speaking to them. The concierge lost our Valentine’s Day reservation and nobody cared or apologized. The service was laughably bad.

All around great experience! Our shuttle driver Chris was exceptional and gave us amazing recommendations. Would highly recommend.

I really appreciate being able to take drop-in classes at the Equinox Spa for $20 a pop. The pool-based offerings are especially nice. However, the hotel and the spa need a major spruce-up. The place is shabby. The locker room showers are dark and leaky. It appears no one cleans up during the day as the trash and dirty towel bins are full. The corporation that owns the place needs to invest its money in the property, staff and guests as opposed to serving its executives and stockholders.

Hotel badly needs updating. Is trying to survive on name from decades ago. Wallpaper peeling, ceiling tiles broken/filthy. Service in front desk area was terrible. Bathrooms were disgusting - hot water did not work in ours and we had to be moved. If you don’t believe me, go try it! I don’t know who is giving 5* reviews. Maybe they’re used to ramshackle motels. If you are used to staying in nicer places, you’ll agree with me. Multiple guests asked the front desk over the course of several hours to put a log on the fire in the main area as it had gone out. Were repeatedly told the “engineer” would do it (he didn’t). By the way - this was on 1/5 which was very slow. Hotel was not busy. Coffee was not out at designated hour (7 am) which in itself is a disgrace. Many guests were up and ready for coffee before 7. We’re real adults. If your staff can’t get it together before that time then you should put machines in rooms. Will 100% be back to Manchester and 110% not be staying here.

We had a lovely time at Equinox! James at the front desk was so kind and helpful and answered all of our questions. We also had a lovely meal at the Chop House. Delicious food! Thanks for an amazing stay.

Disappointing spa experience. The floors were dirty from outside salt and gravel. The steam room was broken, the male tech was working in the women's locker room while we used it. The waiting area is cold and unwelcoming. Clients were called in like an assembly line. My masseuse didnt tell me her name then disappeared after the session. She rushed through the treatment like she was a bulldozer on speed. Find another spa.

I always enjoy the spa and the excellent staff and instructors. It’s unfortunate that one of the two pool bathrooms has been out of commission for some time as it makes for a long wait. Also, people are dragging in gravel to the pool side and pool bathrooms which is quite painful to step on with bare feet. I never remember seeing this gravel in previous years. Maybe outdoor shoes should not be worn in the pool area?
