Wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. The drinks at the falcon were absolutely phenomenal. Jaeden the bartender was marvelous. The drinks were some of the best I ever had.

It's such a darling place!!! Very special esp for families (and dogs!). From the spacious campus layout to multiple seating areas with fireplaces to good size rooms, we really felt so cozy. The special treats at 4pm, cozy bar with live music, pool, hot tub and spa and a great town in walking distance - it's a GEM! Look forward to going back.

Hotel was great from start to finish, and the on-site restaurants were truly outstanding, with excellent food and attentive service that made every meal a highlight of the stay. One person who really made the trip unforgettable was the ski shuttle driver, Chris, who might be the nicest, most helpful, and most knowledgeable person in all of Manchester, going above and beyond to make sure guests were taken care of and got where they needed to go with ease. Overall, the combination of a fantastic hotel, top-notch dining, and exceptional service from staff like Chris made this a stay that is easy to recommend and one that deserves repeat visits.

We’ve been coming to the Equinox for 30 years and seen it through many owners. We still love this grand old dame despite newer offerings elsewhere. Friendly and helpful staff and dog friendly too. Recommended for the quintessential Vermont experience.

Location, very festive, dining options and by chance were assigned the same room as last year which we enjoyed.

Lack of communication between dining and residents. Totally unaware that Christmas dining at the Chop House was a fixed menu. Too many enthusiastic children not properly supervised by parents.

Have come here over 10 times over the past 20 years, a shame to see how terrible the rooms and service are now. Disgusting smell in my room, they wouldn’t move us, and were rude in the process. Would definitely recommend staying elsewhere in Manchester, lots of great other options.

Rooms nice, but wooden flooring in main building not repaired. Ladies locker room in disrepair and gym equipment dated. GM not present on Christmas; assistant managers understaffed and angry. Tavern/chop house staff inadequate and inexperienced (over an hour wait for a salad; 40 minute wait for omelet). Not one staff member at breakfast except for Ashley smiled. Staff told us hotel was for sale by recent owners.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Equinox and cannot wait to return. The property was beautifully decorated, creating such a warm and memorable atmosphere, and the staff were truly exceptional—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. The food was outstanding, the drinks were just as impressive, and every detail exceeded our expectations. This was our first visit, but it certainly won’t be our last—we’ve already told countless friends and family that a stop at The Equinox is an absolute must.
