H10 Imperial Tarraco

Beautiful view of the ocean and walkable to shops and dining options. The hotel is nicely designed and we would really like to go back in a year.

The area next to the hotel blasted loud music 18 hours a day. It started at 10 am and lasted until 4 am. It was impossible to sleep even with earphones. It was the city of Tarragona that permitted the celebration. The police did nothing about the noise. Even in the morning by the pool, we were disturbed by 2 hours of loud marching band music. It marred what was otherwise a nice vacation. The other negative was the water tasted terrible, and all mini bar items including water were at a cost.

Amazing

There was a music DJ festival happening till 4am right next to the hotel. The whole room is vibrating with the loud beats. Be aware to stay at this hotel if you come stay around early September

My experience at H10 Imperial Tarraco was absolutely ruined because of the unacceptable behavior of an employee named Pili. I have never encountered such rudeness, vulgarity, and lack of professionalism in a hotel that pretends to be high-class. Not only did she respond to my requests in a grotesque and disrespectful way, but I also witnessed how she spoke to her own colleagues with indecent and unprofessional language. This is completely disgraceful and shows zero respect for the guests. As long as the hotel allows someone like this to be part of the staff, you cannot expect proper service or respect. A hotel with such a good location and facilities should not tolerate this kind of employee. Very disappointing and unacceptable.

Everything was great

The hotel as advertised seems idyllic, we upgraded to stay in the Deluxe Mare room for 4 nights. We got an email from the hotel which included the following 'On the occasion of.... festivities of Sant Magí....We also inform them that,... some specific activities, both day and night, will be carried out in the vicinity of the hotel.' seemed okay and so we were not concerned. The room was big and pleasant, lovely bed, nice view, some music directly below the window, however not too bad in the afternoon. Late evening this noise seemed to get louder but it stopped shortly before 1230am. Asked at reception about it and was offered earplugs. The noise continued each night however monday night was terrible a DJ playing loud enough to be heard in Mallorca until 3.15am, penetrated the earplugs and the very limited room soundproofing. Reception said they could do nothing other than call police. Complained to reception again in the morning spoke to the marketing manager who said the manager would contact me. I declined to pay the city tax (16€). After a week I'd heard nothing so emailed the hotel, manager didn't reply again, however said sorry and thanks for paying us 1100€ for the Sleep Deprivation summer special. Hotel doesn't care. They know the issues with the rooms because the same thing happens every year. Staff (other than management) were helpful and the best thing about the hotel.

H10 Imperial Terraco was an incredible place to stay. The rooms were clean and good sized, and the view from the balcony and the rooftop was hard to beat. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff were friendly. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tarragona

5 stars for the stunning views alone! Staff were very courteous and professional, the room was well-appointed and comfortable with a huge balcony where I spent hours relaxing & gazing out over the famous “Balcony of the Mediterranean.” The hotel is centrally located between the Roman amphitheater and circus ruins.
