Emerald Beach Resort

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms were big and I loved having a balcony that overlooked the water. It was a treat to go to sleep to the sound of the waves. Mine was a short business trip and it was just perfect to be able to go to the beach after work. The staff were all very pleasant. I enjoyed the food at their restaurant as well. I would definitely stay here again.

I think it needs a makeover and Restaurant need talented chef. A fish sandwich, the fish was over cooked, and I was 20 yards away from the ocean.

Ocean made up for a lot, but I was the only one with a tree, blocking my view of the ocean. Needs a big time makeover!!!!

The resort was very convenient, very clean and the employees were very friendly. Gorgeous view right on the beach.

The rooms r very clean & every room is beachfront and it’s awesome! I can hear the water from your bed! Truly amazing experience & nice helpful taxis right out of the hotel to help with whatever you may need!

Nothing about this place is a resort unless you’re a gangster. The motel is super old and poorly managed. It felt as if the locals spend the weekend here escaping their current dwellings for an “upgrade” albeit temporarily. Drug pushers constantly prowl the beach looking for young women ( daughters) that they can push their drugs on. Most visitors are smoking that skunk smelling pot so if you’re downwind of these inmates, it’s all you smell. You won’t smell the ocean or a tropical scent unless you enjoy that skunk weed smell. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. Many of all ready mentioned ppl wear almost nothing for bathing suits so it’s definitely not for kids. There’s a taco boat off shore but the taxi charges you $30 per person for just a ride to the taco boat. Once there, you still pay ridiculous prices for drinks and tacos that were mediocre quality. Back to the motel, gratuity is auto on all bar/restaurant checks which given clientele makes perfect sense. In closing, need some place close to the airport, this is your place. Want to smell weed and constantly wonder if your belongings will be stolen while you swim, this is your place.
