Stay was good but checkout was embarrassing as they seemed to think that as we had pre booked on line we had not paid for our room. We had to leave our receipts with them as a form of proof. This happened on two occasions but never before 2016. It spoilt our stay.

Overnight stay en route south. Clean, functional room and facilities in non-glamorous but useful location.

Welcoming friendly staff.....room a little small...but clean and comfortable. We had a ground floor room because of mobility issues. We had our two large dogs with us and we're part of a group of six adults in three individual rooms....they kindly ensured that our rooms were close to each other. We had some issues with the restaurant in the evening but our complaint was handled without fuss and breakfast the following morning was plentiful and delicious.....staff were very friendly and helpful. All visitors are offered takeaway coffee and fruit for ongoing travel in the morning which is a lovely touch......would definitely book again and would happily recommend to others.

Stayed here several times. Hotel is very well kept. Same friendly staff are still there after many years. Would recommend to anyone looking for a basic but very nice hotel. Will definately be booking again in the future.

This hotel was just a basic hotel rooms was clean except carpet staining quite small rooms and bathroom.Had stayed in hotels in Spain for two nights four star lovely hotels ten pounds cheaper but France is more expensive. Bit out of the way for walking.The meal we had in the restaurant was lovely fish and chips best I have tasted.

We enjoyed our stay as we always do but we were disappointed yet again that the air conditioning never works, all we get is hot air which we don't need when the temperature outside is 24 degrees.

Modern styled hotel with good facilities. Nice staff very helpful. Nice choice of good for evening meal.

Smiling, helpful, charming welcome. Especially as we arrived after 9:30 pm. We had a very pleasant male waiter who tolerated our poor French but was very professional in serving us a most welcome tasty dinner.

Despite being a non smoking room the room and some of the pillows smelt of cigarettes. It appears that to a Frenchman hanging out of the window to smoke does not count as smoking in the room. There were cigarette ends in the planter outside the window and the smell drifted in. Such a shame particularly as the beds and room in general etc were fine and the staff were very good. Food was good also the breakfast.
