"Second trip because the venue and people are wonderful"

This was my second stay at the Tanoa Tusitala Resort, and it is beautiful and very reasonably priced. The whole vibe is Fa'a Samoa (Samoan lifestyle). The people who work there are so very friendly and polite that we felt right at home. Mercy, Otilia, Imo and Misialofa looked after all our food and drink needs and became friends. Sione and Apollos looked after us at the reception desk and they too were wonderful. All of them credits to the organisation. The resort is conveniently within walking distance of the centre of town, but taxis are only about 5 tala (2.50 Aus dollars) anywhere around the city. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with a number of traditional dishes and changes every day. Lunch and dinner meals were good and well priced. Loved the venue and loved the people.

The room was great. Very clean. Breakfast was good. Love the Koko rice that was served for breakfast and my favourite was the Vaitipolo (Samoan lemonade) served at the bar. Staff were amazing!!. Very friendly and helpful. Definitely would return to Tanoa for my next visit.

I love panikeke but the ones served during breakfast tasted very different.

Location, beautiful views, breakfast buffet, friendly service

Our room’s shower had plumbing issues, kept flooding. I should’ve just asked for a new room. Bed sheets had stains on them. Dryer does not dry for the 1 token, so you need to buy 2 or 3. I raised this with the reception at the front and he acted like he doesn’t care. For the money we pay all the facilities should be 10/10. Very disappointing
