Location was great

Hotel rooms are looking a bit dated

The room was a good size and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good.

The bathroom could have been bigger.

Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. Breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was a little expensive.

Pet friendly rooms were very useful. Size of room was decent. Swimming pool was nice.

The room felt very outdated and budget for the price. Lots of minor snags like drippy taps, TV was very old and didn't work, you can hear the boiler or pump go in the wall very loud when neighbours used their bathroom, spa was a bit budget and smaller than the city Mercure spa, windows went straight into the car park with no plants or privacy glass, breakfast was passable but coffee was really undrinkable at breakfast. Worth noting for pet rooms the proximity of them is close to high traffic doors.

All staff we encountered were pleasant and welcoming. Room was very comfortable and good to have complimentary water and soft drinks. Great to have on site gym, spa, pool, sauna and steam room. Didn't have dinner or breakfast at the hotel.
