Mazzarò Sea Palace - The Leading Hotels of the World

It could not have been more perfect. The bar staff and wait staff are excellent. The check-in process was simple, and they provided a courtesy room for us while we waited for check-in. However, with AM EX, I was expecting an early check-in, and although I was granted one, it was too much back and forth with the front desk following up. Joe in Concierge was excellent, as was Checko (Francisco) at the bar. When leaving tip money for the maid, you need to make it very clear it's for the maid, as they are reluctant to take it.

Another great experience and fantastic stay in the exceptional and beautiful hotel Mazzarò Sea Palace. I am since many years a faithful customer of the Hotel, partly because of its exceptional location in the Taormina Mazzarò Bay, and also because of the incredibly warm welcome and excellent services provided by the whole hotel personal, when we visit. This year again I was amazed about the commitment of the Hotel Management and especially of the whole personal to care for us in all matters, and make us feel highly appreciated guests. We received particular attention from the Housekeeping Team about some requirements we had in our room. Thanks to Francesca and Giovanna, who took good care of it, and whose kindness and attention to the details and their honest caring attitude did make the difference. The main highlight when visiting the Hotel, is the quality time we could spend at the beautiful beach in the Bay, thanks to the special attention of Franco, Beach Manager & Supervisor and his Team of Lifeguards. Franco and his team do a great job, always immediately ready to help adjust the sunbeds, provide additional towels or anything else the guests require. The Beach experience gets enhanced through their service. What we appreciate most is Franco's personal approach, remembering from year to year our needs and our preferences. This year I was also impressed by the Front Desk Personal, who did show particular attention and care to each of our request and always with a lot of kindness. All in all, a unique holiday experience in a Hotel who cares for the well-being of their guests and this throughout all Hotel Services.

A magical -star resort in a magical location. The view, the beach, the newly renovated rooms, along with the most welcoming and attentive staff made you instantly fall in love. We were there to celebrate our 30th anniversary and they put monogrammed pillowcases on our bed with your names on them. It was such an unexpected surprise. That's just one example of how they go above and beyond. Can't recommend this hotel enough.

My husband and I just stayed here for 5 days and it was an amazing 5 days (August 30th-September 3rd). Very easy to setup transportation via the hotel when arriving and departing (not cheap but reliable and worth it in my opinion). It cost 150 euro for each trip. However, it is my understanding that a taxi is not much more cost effective. We preferred reliable and to guarantee we had a ride at a certain time when we arrived and departed. We arrived early in the morning so our room was not ready, however, they have private guest rooms downstairs where you can shower, change, etc. while you wait for your room to be ready. LOVED THIS! We also had a later flight the day we departed but had to check out by noon. After checkout, we went walked around and did some final shopping. When we returned to the hotel, they pulled our bags into one of the private rooms so we could freshen up and get changed before heading to the airport. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel - gorgeous view and food was great! We spent time on the beach - chairs are first come first serve - the beach workers were nice. There is a call button on each umbrella that you can use to call for someone to take your food or drink order. Another nice option! They provide you with a beach bag in your room if you forgot one. The hotel beachfront is not open to the public but borders a small section of beach that is public. You just might see someone famous during your visit - we did : ) One of the best parts of this resort is the proximity to the funicular (cable car) it is a two minute walk from the hotel. You have to buy a ticket each day you if you want to use the cable cars to go into the town. $9 per person for both ways (up and down). It takes you up the hillside and you arrive in the heart of Taormina - shopping, restaurants, etc. THE CUTEST TOWN. Loved the town, the vibe, just everything. We also attended a concert at the old Greek Ampitheatre - that was amazing - you can walk to it if you are in the main part of the city (where the funicular drops you off at the top). Everyone was incredibly nice at the hotel. Very accommodating and always helpful if you have questions or needed something. Our room was on the first floor, which is also where the wellness and fitness centers are. We did not use the wellness center but we did frequent the fitness center. It is very small but you can get a decent workout in - two treadmills, an elliptical, two bikes. There were a decent amount of weight options in terms of dumbbells. Also some kettle bells and resistance bands. No weight machines - just a squat rack type of thing with a bench. They provide water and cold towels in the refrigerator. There were also some snacks and fruit in the gym as well. The place is extremely clean. The rooms were gorgeous! We had a balcony room and the view is just BREATHTAKING. You have a small bistro table/chairs along with two lounge chairs on the balcony. When I had enough of the sun, I laid on our balcony and read a book/relaxed. I even took a nap out there one afternoon. The rooms are spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great! There isn’t an ironing board/iron in the room but they will bring one to your room if you need it. They do a really nice evening turn down service. Room is clean and organized when you return to it for the evening. Overall, 10/10. We had an amazing time and the place is just beautiful. We will stay again! Book it - you will love it here : )

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms and property were stunning and the staff was wonderful ( especially the concierges) Would return in a heartbeat ❤️

Everything you wanted and deserved, and more. It’s all here; location, service, furnishings, atmosphere, attention to detail, quality, I could go on and on…Breakfast was a delight. The cable car to the town gives you options of where to eat and drink in the evenings. Beautiful hotel. Thank you.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Mazzaro Sea Palace. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had booked the perfect restful retreat for our stay. If you want to be right on the sea with easy access to the beach like we did, this is the perfect stay. The accommodations were lovely, and the staff could not have been kinder and more professional. Federica, Karina and Rosario were wonderful and made sure that both of our needs were met during our stay. Gioacchino and the concierge team helped accommodate us with all of our side trips and restaurant reservations. I would strongly recommend the hotel for people who would rather be by the sea and take a very convenient lift/tram into the heart of Taormina….. We enjoyed coming back to the quiet and elegance of the Mazzaro Sea Palace.

We choose to book the unforgettable arrival which was a pickup at CTA airport and dropped at a port in Giardini Naxos. It's a town next to Taormina. The drive was around 40 minutes, and the boat ride was about 20 minutes. It was nice but the sea was a bit rough, and it was honestly a waste of time. It was 400 Euros, save your money. NOW, that is the last I will say anything negative about this property. This was the nicest hotel my husband and I have ever stayed in! It made the Ritz Carlton in Grand Cayman look like a dump! The room was beautiful with a huge, beautiful balcony with a stunning view. The breakfast had every option, and it was all delicious. Elena was the sweetest she always had a smile. We enjoyed the bar with amazing piano players. Vicki was wonderful. (I hope I spelled his name correctly). The concierge was the best I have ever dealt with. Immediate responses and they couldn't be more helpful recommending restaurants. There were 2 restaurants within walking distance if you don't want to take the cable car up to the town. Bel Assai and Barcaiolo were incredible and delicious. I wish I could rate this hotel higher. Caio for now we will be back!
