Leonardo Royal Hotel Edinburgh

Great location, hotel room was clean and comfy.

The location was very convenient. It was within walking distance to all tourist places, the Royal Mile is just couple of steps at the back of the hotel. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. We travelled via train and the station was within 5 min walking distance. Will stay here again. The hotel staff were very friendly. We had arrived in the morning via international flight. They were able to check us early and we got our room. This helped us to freshen up and start the day in Edinburgh. They also have a restaurant but we did not eat so no comments.

Brilliant location, so close to the railway station and the Royal Mile. Perfect. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, good air-con which was great during the heat wave. Staff were all really helpful and friendly. Bar and restaurant well organised. Good varied menu. Food seemed freshly cooked. Very good self service breakfast choice.

Tea and coffee not topped up daily. Hand towels, shower mat and Face cloths not always replaced, (but we always had bath towels), presume this was just an oversight, as the room was otherwise perfectly serviced and the cleaning staff we saw were always polite and smiley. Our room overlooked the rear where there was building works happening, which started quite noisily at 07:30 each morning.
