The breakfast - feel bad asking for more toast Would be better if you make your own Wanted to order a chai latte

The location was excellent and very convenient for exploring the city. I also really enjoyed the breakfast, which had a good variety of options.

The bathroom was very small, and the furniture and carpets felt old and outdated. Considering the hotel’s star rating and location, I expected the interior to be much more modern. The gentleman at the reception was not friendly. His facial expression was unwelcoming, and he didn’t seem interested in communicating or helping guests. We were also very disappointed with how our breakfast refund request was handled. We informed the hotel a day in advance that we would not be able to have breakfast on our last morning because we had an early flight and a long journey ahead. We also explained that we couldn’t take it to go. A young lady at the hotel initially approved the refund. After that, we spent around 30–40 minutes on the phone with Booking.com. Booking.com then contacted the hotel again, but this time another staff member said that a refund was not possible. He never called us back to explain the different information, so I had to contact him myself. He claimed that breakfast numbers had already been prepared for the guests, but this simply isn’t true because we notified the hotel the day before, giving them more than enough time to adjust the breakfast list. In addition, the hotel offers walk-in breakfast, so this explanation made no sense. The hairdryer in our room did not work, and we were not provided with slippers. Overall, I don’t believe this hotel offers good value for money, and in my opinion, the quality does not match its star rating.

Breakfast offered good food. Coffee machines keep running out of supplies resulting in large queues. Wife asked for Gluten free options for 2 days but only received them on 1 day.

Uncomfortable beds. Honestly the worst I can remember, woke up feeling crippled. Shower was poor and air con unresponsive so we opened a window. Expected some gym/leisure facilities to justify the star rating, but there is only just a bar/restaurant.

El desayuno no fue lo mejor,poca variedad de panes,de embutidos,una tostadora no funcionaba y el café no tenía buen saboe

Pressure to book in and out online . Reception staff were not welcoming or helpful. When we left the door keys were snatched out of my hand by a young man wearing a badge which indicated he was trainee management. I was not asked whether we had enjoyed our stay. There were no pleasantries. I gave our car park ticket to a member of staff on reception so that we would be given a 20% discount. He handed it back saying it was sorted but there was no discount on exit. I sent a message to reception asking for the £15 to be credited to my credit card. Still no reply. One of the lifts was not working throughout our stay. We chose not to eat at the hotel as there was a smell of old cooking fat as in deep fat fryers. If you're just looking for somewhere comfortable to sleep the hotel is fine . It's in a convenient location overlooking the train station between the old and new town.

Das Frühstückbuffet hat uns enttäuscht. Waren vorher in B&B's, welche ein reichhaltigeres und qualitativ hochwertigeres Braekfast angeboten haben. Viel Hektik im Restaurant. Kaffemaschinen sollten nicht neben den Küchen-Ein-/Ausgängen platziert sein.

Der Zimmerpreis im Verhältnis zum gesamten Angebot war IMHO zu hoch.
