The lobby area and two rooms we had needed to be remodeled and have some repairs done. BUT, the staff was very nice!!
Very tiny (hence "Micro") however, the walls are also very thin, bed very soft, a/c doesn't work very well, towels don't dry (you have to turn in your used ones to get new ones), and just kind of not well kept up. Tough to get a good night's sleep
Front desk area gjves bad first impression. Messy and outdated. Room smelled musty and 2 roaches came out from behind refrigerator. I got moved to 2nd floor, which was better but will never stay again.
The room was clean and well furnished. The only problem was that room was very small.
The rooms are very clean and in good working order. But with all things COVID, there are very little amenities that can be offered. This hotel doesn't have an elevator, so if you need one, make sure your room is on the first floor. We stayed here during a U of A Family weekend and there were literally no affordable options close to Tuscaloosa. The prices for such a small room reflected the low availability in the area, but for any other time, this place would be great for an overnight stat while traveling I-20 through Alabama.

it was horrible and the staff was not friendly at all
While I realize staff may be short, I did not appreciate the attitude displayed by La Toya Henson because we tried to check in ten minutes before the check in time. I will give strong consideration to staying somewhere else going forward.
