"Pleasant stay, Great Location, Friendly Staff"

Unfortunately the hotel informed me that the kitchen and bar was being refurbished. They obviously took the price of the breakfast off my bill plus some money for compensation for the inconvenience. Plus supplied a free "continental" breakfast that you could collect form the reception. But there are many pubs and restaurants nearby, so I didn't starve. I am sure the new bar and restaurant area will be great when finished

The whole hotel was in the process of a refurb, in the reception area it was a typical building site, But it looked like the rooms had been done already. The smell of new paint wasn't too bad in the corridors and in the room it was fine. It would of been nice to know when booking that this was planned.

Location is good being near the spots you want to visit.

Feels a little run down and dirty. Place needs a real refresh of investment to make it above a 2 star.

Nothing

Room to hot. Shower did not turn off properly so was noisy all night. Poorly refurbished. Some was still partly a building site but instead of making these areas out of bounds you were just allowed to walk through them. No breakfast but that was previously relayed so can't really complain about that. Parking expensive and stay was expensive in comparison to other brands.
