"Not all it was made out to be"

The staff were friendly

Bad communication about having work on the kitchen and restaurant not still allowed a booking with breakfast. Offered a bagged breakfast snack for an extortionate rate of £9: Croissant, yoghurt, bottle of water or juice.

"Please don't bother, head to the premier inn next door !"

Nothing

They were having the downstairs upgraded so it was a building site . However , we were not made aware if this and so there was no restaurant or bar or breakfast . As a single female traveller I should have been made aware of this as didn't want to go out by myself. My room (despite being cheap) was the smallest room I have ever seen.

"Refurbishment going on so not great"

Friendly receptionist and comfortable room.

Appreciate refurbishment was going on but the place was a mess and noisy. Car park in a rough area - wouldn’t feel safe there after dark.
