Hacienda Temozon Sur

Excelente hotel en general con personal muy agradable y bien capacitado. Sería bueno que el agua de la alberca estuviera climatizada con calefacción solar igual que el servicio de agua caliente de los cuartos. El servicio en general es excelente. La comodidad de las habitaciones es excepcional pero los acabados pueden mejorar, respetando las características arquitectónicas de la Hacienda. El restaurante ofrece excelentes opciones de alimentos y muy buen servicio a precios razonables. El precio de la estancia por noche es alto tomando en cuenta el nivel de lujo y servicios ofrecidos, en comparación con otras haciendas y hoteles del mismo nivel. Concluyendo, regresaría a hospedarme con mucho gusto a la Hacienda Temozón.

Never had hot water even though I complained about it. Also they intended to charge me an extra 50 dollars amount plus tax daily for an extra bed for the room I paid for 3 adults. I had to convince them and show them my printed reservation that the room said in Booking it was for 3 adults and that the extra bed was included.

This was our third visit. We loved Hacienda Temozon so much, we got married there. We just returned from celebrating our wedding anniversary with a stay at Hacienda Temozon. The experience was top notch. They paid attention to every detail: flowers on the bed shaped like hearts. Romantic candlelight dinner in the stunning front lawn with a delicious 4-course meal. The hacienda is beautiful and impressive. Splurge and stay in the Presidential Suite. It has private pool. The staff make this place truly incredible: They aim to please and they go above and beyond to make your stay special.

Lugar mágico, muy bien restaurado, la comida del restaurante deliciosa y todo con muchos detalles.

this place is beautiful and unique with staff who work hard to make your stay memorable. the kitchen is superb churning out some of the finest yucateca in the area. the grounds deliver a feel of bygone splendor and anyone with the slightest inkling of historical curiosity will revel in the rooms. folks who think luxury is defined by some sort of puerile bougie resort feel free to stay in tulum with all the swarovsky and shiny plastic. btw, we felt like we were drug lords staying here - in a good way! now thats luxury, imho.

Don’t take any notice of the negative reviews. This is an old building with lots of character. A bit rough in places but that’s part of the charm The important bits work fine. Food and drink is great We ate looking over the floodlit pool, very romantic Beds are very comfortable Staff are very helpful Pool is lovely (but I didn’t use it) Wi-Fi works fine TV is flaky but I didn’t travel to Mexico to watch TV It’s a great base for visiting Uxmal and Kabah The best bit is the grounds We found a trail leading to a cenote, we followed an old railway track at the back of the spa and after walking about an hour there is a cenote where the tracks end. Look for the sign near to the old engine room and chimney at the end of the pool We spotted lots of different birds, including hummingbirds, hawks, vultures and orioles The cenote has a ladder down into the bottom but I wasn’t tempted to swim but it was very interesting

Comfortable bed, gorgeous swimming pool, adorable staff, choice of food in the restaurant, impressive parc, good location to visit the area.

Communications issues (few people speak English). Price regarding the quality.

This place is paradise! It is absolutely beautiful! If you really want to rest & recharge this is the place. Secluded & Quiet with nature all around you. The hotel staff is outstanding! they treat you like royalty! Food at restaurant is excellent as well. The only thing to consider, there's absolutely nothing to do outside the 111 acres of the Hacienda property. You are literally out in the middle of the forest, about 50 mins from Merida. So going back and forth to the city and back can add up. Can't wait to go back though!!
