All inclusive, la nourriture etait variée et la plupart du temps appetissante. Le petit dej etait cependant redondant Nous avons également pu manger au 5 etoiles juste au dessus une fois dans la semaine et un gateau au miel nous attendait dans la chambre. Vue sur la mer

L isolation de la chambre et le bruit des vagues affectent un peu l experience.

The hotel needs modernising and the food is quite subpar for a 4 star! Very little choice and could do with fresh local produce! On the very plus side, the management should really thank the AMAZING team that makes this hotel run so smoothly and efficiently! Our thank you to Carla and the team at reception who made sure that everything was perfect! The decor and the table arrangements were perfect and all the little touches of decor in the room and super tasty cake were very appreciated! Thank you again

The view and the location directly at the beach. We could change the room without any issues after having ants in our room.

Ants in our room, rooms need renovation, especially bath room, generell we really expected more for the costs of nearly 500 Euro for 2 nights. Food and drinks rather low quality, way too many guests, queues and no spare tables (despite low season). Not recommended at all.

Pena não ter piscina interior, apanhámos mau tempo, mas não temos nada a apontar ao hotel.

I declared in advance a severe seafood allergy, all appeared well at check-in was given a card to present in the restaurant - looked positive, tried buffet restaurant first evening, presented my card to a waiter. He took me round all the food telling me what was what, 99% of food was labelled. However every fish dish was located directly next to a meat dish, leaving very little options. It was the one and only time I used the buffet at lunch or dinner for that reason. Paid the extra for a superior view of the sea, 6th floor amazing views, however was given an adjoining room, so heard everything from next door through a paper thin door. As a non alcohol drinker I would normally drinks lots of Pepsi max, however the pumps were labelled Pepsi and to be honest tasted like water. I asked at the bar for a Pepsi then a Pepsi max and was given both drinks from the same pump. Location is amazing for the beach, unfortunately there was a storm when we were there so avoided the beach, not the hotels fault, but did isolate us. Everything was up a very steep hill or a taxi ride away. If you book direct via the hotels website it entitles you to use the sister hotels à la carte restaurant, we used the Italian restaurant and food was fantastic. We did complain about the issues above highlighted and were offered another room at a Lower floor / lower category but no refund. Then eventually were offered a room in the sister hotel - Hotel Pestana Royal- which although dated was a much nicer hotel. For me €200+ per night for ocean bay is a rip off and definitely not worth the money.
