No hair dryer in the room. Employee said he would try to get an "extra" one. Never happened. Towels looked clean and folded but felt damp as if they were not dried adequately. Asked for the manager's contact information but employee would not give it - said she would be there the following morning. Even though sign said manager on duty - no manager available either in person or an the phone.

The room immediately smelled like mold and mildew …. so I went on a search to find the smell … found it, mold on the bed and mildew on the walls (see photo) They did change my room, but why didn’t the cleaning staff report this or better yet …. CLEAN IT UP before renting.

I should have paid more than double. The price was great but the room had an odor. The was acceptable and the 48 inch TV was cool but the programming was horrible. Had to press 10 to get the guide to come up and I only found out about that after asking the nice guy at the front desk.

The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was out very early. Nice look building, in a great location. The price was good.

I was given a key when I checked in, when I opened the door to the room staff told me to go to, I used my swipe card and the door unlocked. I opened the door and there was someones belonging in the room already. I had my daughter with me at the time, that could have turned into a very dangerous encounter!!! The bathroom floor was dirty, the a/c unit was very dirty. The carpet was frayed where it met the tile which made it look bad. The a/c unit was right at the edge of the bed. There was a light right beside the windows that was out.

There are not a lot of options if you are in town for the Carolina horse park so we were stuck with this hotel. It's a budget hotel so we were expecting very basic but this hotel is by far the most filthy hotel I have ever stayed at.

We arrived at midnight and were exhausted. Immediately we were greeted with a musty mildewy smell in the room. We then noticed hair in the bathroom sink, bathtub and all over the floor. The rug clearly had not been vacuumed (attaching the pic of the rug when we arrived). The beds were made but when we pulled down the covers the sheets had what appeared to be animal hair in them on both beds. The towels were all stained. If we had anywhere else to go at that hour we would have left immediately. We tried to book something else for the next day but everything was full. In the morning after a restless night we spoke to the receptionist who was not at all surprised when we explained the condition of the room. We asked if we could have it cleaned while we were out and she said ok. When we arrived that evening we asked if it had been cleaned and she said yes. We found that the.cleaner had come and made the bed with the same pet hair filled sheets. They had not vacuumed or touched any of the filthy bathroom. We went down and found a new receptionist who was at least apologetic and said he would send a cleaner up. They did change the sheets this time but touched nothing else. We were scared to even touch the filthy rug with our bare feet. I can only advise staying away from this hotel at all costs. It's not worth whatever fungus or bug you might pick up and the staff are clearly deeply unserious about anything regarding cleanliness or hospitality.

We got a new room that had the most atrocious dog smell I’ve ever had the displeasure of sleeping in. It was midnight when we arrived and I had no energy to go through a room change process AGAIN. Thank god we had air freshener in our car. Insane. Breakfast was underwhelming but better than no breakfast. We will never again book through this site. We were unexpectedly charged $60 more than we agreed to.
