Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Southern Pines Pinehurst

$100 incidental charge was unexpected and not necessary since room had no reason for this charge. Room was at reasonable rate, but nothing special.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was comfortable, but the hallways are abysmal. Very long corridors, linoleum flooring, drains for some reason, dehumidifiers running, and nothing on the walls. In other words, absolutely no ambiance. It was like walking into an insane asylum.

Bathroom wasn’t so clean, carpet in room and in common areas old and dirty

Need update and maintenance: carpet in shreds, bathroom fan filthy, lack of plug for charging.

Not much

No elevator, the room doors looked as if the were beaten in. Several without peep holes or missing piece of the locks. My door latch had been replaced and obviously broken prior. The carpet in the hallway and stairs was disgusting.

It was a comfortable stay

I forgot my shirt, called the front desk spoke to the staff and he stated that he has it and I could come pick it up. one week later I drove 4 hours from Virginia to get it, both the front desk clerk and manager said it has disappeared. Very disappointing.

The outside looks appealing but as soon as you get inside it’s a dump. No elevator,carpet on the stairs is dirty and ragged. All the room doors were chipped and dirty. The room wasn’t cleaned properly but the bathroom was ok. I’ve always had good stays at Microtel but this is a dumb
