Occidental Nuevo Vallarta - All Inclusive

Our fourth or fifth stay at ONV. Best part is family friendly atmosphere, and price reasonable. We enjoyed a clean room, well-trimmed grounds and walks along a terrific beach. Found food options were good. It helps having Tuesday outdoor market and small shopping center (complete with Starbucks) just across the street. We hope to return.

There are steps that do not have hand rails. At Le Buffet there was a fall. People don't know there is a side exit with a ramp. Other areas could use a rail. Might I suggest the management have a couple of 82 year old "guests" walk around and help with safety issues.

Another great trip here. A lovely location. Good food and service. The weather seems to always be good in the bay. We'll be back again!

We had a wonderful 16 night vacation at Occidental. It was our first stay at this resort and it did not disappoint. Our room was very nice and kept very clean by the housekeeping staff. The balcony was private with a great view and the beds were comfy. The food was very good. The Italian a La carte was exceptional. The reservation process was somewhat difficult for the a La cartes but we eventually got in to them at the times we wanted. The beach was spectacular for swimming and walking and not too busy. And the resort had plenty of beach chairs so there wasn’t a need to rush and save. We are beach people and we would have liked to have had drink service on the beach. The best part of the resort is the staff. Everyone we met was kind and helpful and treated us so well. We have to make special mention and thanks to a select group: Aurelio, Jesus, Roni, and Manuel were amazing lobby bartender, and Maria and Maria were awesome lobby servers! Maria was lovely at the front desk. And our favourite pool server, Jose, was outstanding! Thank you all for your great service and hospitality! We hope to see you all when we return!

Such a wonderful time with friends. Perfect beach, scenery and the hotel was everything we needed. Many restaurants with varied options.

From check in to check out the staff is professional, helpful and efficient. We appreciated and enjoyed having ours and our rooms upgraded. The hostesses and staff at the buffet and restaurants are friendly, courteous, smiling and always wanting to please. The added flair and attention at the specialty restaurants along with the presentation of gourmet dishes was special and the Tokyo restaurant brought entertainment to the dining experience. The nightly shows were fun and some quite impressive. The property is very well maintained, clean, along with manicured lawns. lWe so enjoyed the beach and swimming in the ocean. Beauty, relaxation, comfort, good food, perfect weather….that says everything. Thank you for the memories. We look forward to returning.

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great family vacation. The resort was amazing , it was very clean, almost spotless, the staff were super friendly, professional, helpful and accommodating. , the food was of great quality along with a wide variety of selections to choose from. Close to amenities, the beach was excellent , walkable and clean, the ocean was safe to swim, no seaweed and rip currents.

This was our second stay at the occidental. The resort is super clean , the staff are friendly and very helpful . The food was and still is very good . My only recommendation would be to upgrade over the small double beds . Queens would be far better in the double rooms . The hibachi is something everyone should check out . Very good place to stay in Neuvo.

This was my first all inclusive in this area of Mexico. It was excellent and I had an amazing 2 weeks with friends. I took advantage of the tours offered through the hotel (Grayline)/Vallarta Adventures. The Tuesday morning market is across the street as well as a small mall with a grocery store (Paradise Mall) as well as stores in the hotel. Staff are amazing. Perfect mid-size resort right on the beach.

Great vibe smaller resort beautiful beach. Nice pool excellent buffet. Comfy bed we had a fantastic week. Entertainment was great all service people did a great job. Eva is wonderfully funny filling multiple roles of MC, activities director. Wait staff and hospitality are excellent so friendly and helpful . So much to do dance lessons pool and beach activities games. We will be back! Only issue is the pool area should be monitored so guests don’t get up in the middle of the night to reserve pool chairs. Also too many steps in the buffet makes it hard to carry your plate you could use a few more railings
