Amazing stay for me and nieces

This is a great hotel. Excellent selection of quality food, friendly staff, a nice clean pool, lots of sunloungers and activities. Our room is spacious and the beds are comfortable. The fridge is stocked with drinks and there are optics in the room. When we last visited Mexico 10 years ago we stayed at the sister Rui Tequila hotel, which we loved and it was the reason for choosing this hotel to spend the last two nights of our Mexican trip. We are really happy with our choice. The quality here is really high, as we consistently always experience from Rui hotels. We will be returning here in the future.

Its an ok hotel, solid 3 stars but definitely not a 5 star hotel, beach access sucks, you have to the a bus there, drinks were terrible, staff was nice

Had a fabulous time at Riu Lupita. All staff were fantastic and very friendly nothing was a bother to them. I would happily recommend this hotel to family and friends and will return in the future. Lots of activities in and around the main pool.

Very fun enjoyable vacation. Hotel and entertainment staff were excellent. Fantastic value for money.

Excellent 2 week vacation at the Rui Lupita. Food, drinks and service was very good as was the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms. The only issue I had was that the rooms are outdated and require an upgrade, otherwise this was a good hotel.

Water in the pool by restaurants wasn’t clear enough and water in the pool in quite area was dirty a lot of bags floatingin the water and stuff from the trees when we got checked in in the room I was shocked The area when the ceiling fan touched the ceiling was full of webs and dirt. The lamp on the wall by the bed was hanging out, was broken. The pictures on the wall they were dirty, and the sheets were dirty. The extra blankets was stiffed as a linen fabric very Very old the view from the room was like Bumped area a lot of pieces of the Building walls. When I booked this resort it did show its four stars resorts I don’t think so!! Dose not has even too it’s very poor. We had to drive to the beach every day about 15-20 minutes I’m very old buses, and we weren’t able to swim in the sea because of seaweed covered almost half of the Beach because nobody Took care of it . Seaweed season is all over Caribbean area. Any other resorts take care of it we weren’t even able noticed that it is seaweed season. In this resort the smell terrible smell was all around because of the seaweed laying on the beach forever and no access to the sea to swim at all I am very disappointed. I would never recommend to anybody to visit this resort. We paid 600 per person for three days and it was price on sale. I don’t understand the pictures on Expedia showing beautiful rooms and area all these pictures do not match even in 1/3 of a reality. Stuff of the hotel is very very nice.

I love Riu Lupita because the staff make you feel welcome, its a great experience as you arrive to the airport until they bring you back to the airport me and my family love it this was my second time visiting Riu Lupita

Smaller than some of the other Riu Hotels Bar is right beside the main pool. Bus ride to the beach and town center Friendly abd efficient staff who dont houndcyou for tips. We came as a couple but would suit a family as well. Free bus to Riu Tequila party every Friday Rooms are clean well maintained with pleanty of storage. However the dark wood makes them look a little dated Remember your in Mexico expect to see the local wildlife in the hotel grounds
