SureStay Hotel by Best Western Williams

Great value for the price very clean it was very quiet it was a very good experience and the staff was accommodating and the breakfast in the morning was very nice super super good price also

1 The Front Desk Lady said my room number out loud. There was a man in the lobby selling food.

For the price - Great location for an overnight stay when traveling and needing to be near the Interstate. Rooms were very clean, beds were comfy and there was plenty of hot water.

There was no coffee in the breakfast room at 9am.

There was coffee 👍. Crowded😕

It sounded like a drug dealer was staying right next to us. Cars pulling up and people getting in and out all night. The last person may have been the manager telling them to stop, which was good.

Breakfast was just bread and a few yogurts. Staff wasn't at the front desk at all during breakfast/checkout. Fake eyelashes from last occupant were stuck to the top of the nightstand.

I booked a room. Immediately of my arrival in the room, I got my first bite. A minute later, I was covered in bites- my legs, my arms, my feet, my toes. I went to the front desk. The woman who had just checked me in said in an extremely condescending, terse way : "We're in the country, what do you expect. There's nothing we can do about it. The mosquitos all over the fields." I said: They're not in the fields. They're in the room." She said: " I can give you some but spray. You'll have to talk to the manager." "Yes, please. Where is he?" "He'll be in at 10:00 pm" At 10:00 pm I spoke to the manager "Parker". He had the same dismissive attitude. I pointed out that I'd stayed at many hotels. Several here in Williams. I'd never had a problem with bugs. They are not mosquitos. They both insists that the mosquitos get in the rooms when I open the door. There’s nothing they can do. Twenty to thirty bites in minutes is not mosquitos. I never saw a mosquito. Parker exploded. He called me “Stupid,” “An idiot,” “An ignoramus,” “Illiterate.” He then said I had 5 minutes to get out of the room. (The room I paid for). He said was calling the police. I agreed, please. He then he ran away. I 'm waiting for him to came back so I can ask for my money back so I can leave. So, the police arrived. Very professional – Officer Lorman. I showed him some of my welts. An told him of Parker’s demanded I leave in 5 minutes. I would like to leave, but wanted my money refunded as I now had to find another hotel. Officer Lorman said it's a Civil matter. He can't force Parker to give a refund. While we were standing there, Parker kept yelling at me. He again made the same insults. Parker then ran inside. My CC company notified me that an additional $100 had just been charged to my cc from Sure Stay.

The breakfast was basic but fine. The bathroom was clean.

The pillows were too thick and hurt my wife's neck and mine. And the room faced Highway 20, so we could hear the roar of vehicles all night.
