Hotel Francis

The bedroom and facilties are very, very basic! But, and it is a big "but". The rooms are clean, the beds very comfortable, the bed linen spotless and the place is quiet. We slept better there than in most more luxurious hotels. We found it fine for a short, 4-night stay - I wouldn't like to be there for much longer. So, don't expect much - you get what you pay for.

Excellent location, clean and comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, very kind staff at the desk, easy check in and check out. Convenient parking.

The tvs didn’t work plus she charged me for a full stay and I didn’t have get no discounts!! Was unaware of the issue

The hotel room was less than expected when it came to any kind of comfort. The service was extremely rude, no cable, our room smelled of weed smoke which we complained of and they did not offer to move us. My husband got extremely nauseous and still nothing was done. My grandson and kids were told they couldn’t swim and locked the pool area 2 hours before it was supposed to regardless of it being 83 degrees outside. Do NOT STAY HERE!

I'll Never make the mistake of staying there again. TV would not work. Brought us another one. Next morning it would not work. Phone in room no dial tones not working. At 7:30 am electric went out in room. Never came back on and no one ever came to room check on it. Had to go down to front dest request another room just to take showers. Breakfast, well not any better. Nothing to drink you coffee out of. Dont waste you time or money on this place. Its the dumps..

It's very difficult to block out light coming in around the curtains in order to sleep / the TV should be upgraded soon / the bathroom needs some serious upgrading & attention / no counter space to speak of, very very old sink / extra blankets should be placed in the room somewhere for customers to access if room becomes too cold at night / the locks on the doors are very dated....I was told that the property has been sold to new owner / investors and extensive remodel in in near future. The young lady at the front desk when I checked in is very customer oriented, very helpful and makes the customer fell welcomed to the property.

It was a great stay

It was clear that the hotel has seen better days, but I did see workers painting and do construction work around the property, i was advised that there was a new owner of the hotel who is going to fix the property back up to its former glory, I hope so, the hotel sits on a beautiful property and has tons of Appel and potential, I will say that the rooms were clean and nice, the hotel employees were super nice and very helpful. I will stay again when I’m back in St. Francesville, thank you.

Marion was especially helpful at the front desk and it was so great to meet Shannon the new owner at the end of my stay! Everybody always can use areas of improvement so the only area that I mentioned to you I'm reminding you I was the microwave was totally not working and I know you will take care of it. I definitely I'm going again. Godspeed and peace!

I did not like anything about this hotel , the room was not cleaned proper , the shower and sink had mold on it, the bed had bed bugs in it . Their was not any breakfast at all and nothing about this place deserve good review.
