Hotel Francis

The hotel was a bit outdated and could use a little work. But we didn’t mind it at all. We just went there to sleep because we were hunting right down the road. Staff was great. Seemed like a quiet place even seen a deer in the parking lot.

Breakfast even paoed, was not available

The reviews and pictures did not match the actual rooms, they were out dated and didn’t look or feel clean at all. We were also not told of the large party going on till relatively late at night

Area was quiet and staff was super nice. Room needs updating but its was just right for a nights sleep.

The desk clerk was nice and accommodating. The facility is a dump. We checked into a room and the toilet was running nonstop when I raised the toilet lid water was splashing onto the seat. Went back to the desk got another room when we pulled the covers back on the bed there was a wad of hair between the sheets. We then checked out and went to the Best Western down the street same price 100x nicer. Stay at the Hotel Francis if you want to see what a non updated 1960’s hotel was like.

The carpet felt wet and slimy. And I had roaches in my room.

The plaques of all the plantations in the main building was very nice touch, as well as the hot breakfast was amazing compared to most hotels where it's just cold. Seems like the new management is making steps in The right direction And we look forward to returning and seeing improvements

The light in the shower was broken with the light cover on the counter. Wasn’t a clean environment.
