Hotel Francis

We couldn’t even stay in our room, it was the nastiest hotel I’ve ever been to, tv didn’t work, no phone, stains all over beds, spider webs, bugs, just the nastiest place, we left and found another hotel. Looks ABSOLUTELY nothing like the pic on the website!!!!

Run down and dirty

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! It’s under construction; however, this place should be torn down! Went for complimentary breakfast at 8am, and the food was all gone. Guest were looking around for the food!! It seems as if this is a rent by the week hotel, so many may live there. Trust me, stay elsewhere!!

Everyone was great and helpful. To the young man who comes in at 11pm on the Day's I stayed he sat and comforted me when I got some very bad news about my Mama, Thankyou So Much. Sometimes people don't want to listen but he did and it made me feel better.

The fact that there was a strange car riding around the parking lot trying to kidnap my family members, I got locked in my hotel room, then they claimed no Rooms on bottom floor to make it convenient for my handicap assist and that it was nasty, and poorly maintained!!

Our stay was for a wedding and I know the hotel is under going renovations but just in our room the toilet paper holder comes out of the wall when you pull on paper The toilet flushing is very sluggish For the most part staff are very friendly and helpful we enjoyed our stay

This is a older hotel and it needs alot of updates but it was good for the night. Our phone didn't work and some lights didn't work but we had tv and air so we were fine.

Good nights sleep

We reserved two rooms; they weren't even in the same building which defeated the purpose of having two rooms. The beds were super small, and the room smelled weird.

On-site staff are the friendliest and most accommodating people. The breakfasts and suppers are always prepared perfectly. Unfortunately, the actual hotel, grounds, and rooms have a lot to be desired. The grounds are terrible, with a parking area that is eroding away, a waterfront area that is dirty and smelly, and a building that is completely unkempt and dirty. The rooms are no better. There are cigarette burns in the sheets, stains and holes on the walls, sticky floors and mold. Our room was so bad that we couldn’t keep our clothes inside as they were just constantly becoming damp. I struggled to breathe and sleep each night which ultimately lead to us leaving two nights early as I got sick. This was our third year coming to Francis and will most likely be our last as each room experience has just been worse. Your staff is an absolute charm and the only reason we came back again this year.
