Comfort Inn & Suites Tyler North

Hotel building and rooms are renovated but not in every place. For example, bathtub & bathroom's walls/ceilings are old. Breakfast is OK, not that great. Overall, hotel is clean. Its location is very close to Zoo where our next stop is. There are not many restaurants close by. OK to stay for a night.

Extremely comfortable beds and the best continental breakfast with both hot and cold foods!

Not so good. We asked for a blanket and they said they didn't have any clean ones. The TV remote didn't work. No microwave in the dining area.

Excellent Breakfast and Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

I would give this hotel a favorable review as it was clean, convenient & the woman who checked me in was wonderful. However, Guy Williams, at the desk in the evening was terrible. We had 1 towel for our entire room. We realized this when we got back at 11pm from an all day baseball tournament. My son used the one towel and I realized there weren’t anymore for the rest of us who we’re also sweaty and covered in sunscreen. My son asked for more and Guy told him that the hotel was “almost full” and there weren’t enough towels. I thought that couldn’t be correct so I called down. Before I could even get a full sentence out he cut me off saying “like I told that boy you sent down, there aren’t any more towels”. He was so rude. I went on to say that was unacceptable and couldn’t be right as we weren’t asking for extra just 1 for each person. I began suggesting he look in an unoccupied room, he cut me off stating that I just I don’t like the answer given to me & I was being difficult. He suggested that I call in the morning once housekeeping arrives to see if they have towels. I asked for his name & the manager coming in the morning. He just kept saying are you kidding me & was reluctant to give it to me, but in the end he did. Upon check out I asked the delightful woman at the desk about the towel situation and she told me there were plenty of towels in the clean towel bin behind the desk as well as in the unoccupied rooms. Guy Williams is obviously incompetent and needs training.

Stayed here for a wedding and was somewhat disappointed. The elevator was not working and we had to walk up and down the stairs and we stayed on 3rd floor. The restroom was a little dated, and the shower head was broken and hard to use. The bedroom area was renovated with clean and comfortable beds.

The service was great, location was exactly what we needed, the bed was really comfortable. However, the pool was nasty (the lining was peeling off), the hot tub did not work, the air conditioner was barely adequate, and the tub and trim needed some updating.

Had to change rooms after having ants everywhere. Overall not a good night stay.

So noisy. The a/c sounded like a freight train. I heard the neighbors tv and bathrooms all around my room. Noise from the hallway until after midnight. Bed and shower were awesome though.
