"My Regular Hotel in Kiev"

I have stayed at Hotel Lybid numerous times. It has a good location near the Kiev train station and is in a region close to where I used to live and am therefore familiar with. It is an old Soviet hotel, yet is kept in very good shape with comfortable rooms. The front desk people are helpful. All and all, a good stay in Kiev for a relatively modest price.

"Kidnappers Den⚠️ Stay away❗"

This is a kidnappers den. You will be lured to the hotel basement for dance show but you might not get out alive if you refuse to pay ransomes to the hooligans. The hotel is part of the collusion and will declare that the basement restaurant is not part of the hotel. You will be abducted and be held against your will. Stay away from this facility.

"The Happy Lybid!"

It is very well located, very good value and pretty clean. The downsides: it is a little tired and Soviet looking and the double beds in the standard rooms are a little on the small side. Like I said, it is great value for money and has decent amenities - bar, restaurant, ATM, summer terrace and a good location

My girl friend came over, The front guards asked me to pay 200UAH? I asked why?, there say I have to pay because she might be prostitute? Are you freankin serious? This place is unreal! I asked for hotel manager, then, they backed down. Unbelievable! I am never coming back!!! Foreigner watch out!

"Short stay in Kyiv"

Didn't use the hotels facilities during my 4 night stay but wifi was good, aircon worked, room had a working fridge and cleanliness was really good. Across road is Galleria and supermarket, lots of alternative eating place and people very friendly.

"Centrally located hotel"

Everything ok except the weather still cold but the heating was turned off. Strong wifi,centrally located, interestingly right at the 5 way intersection close to main railway station and metro. Staff reserved
