Very run down.

It’s a pricey villa but it was good enough to have a private family quality time.

I was there 30 years ago and loved it. It hasn't been updated since. Rusty heater/AC , old stretched carpets, minimal food options, 80's paint and wallpaper. Staff did what they could with what they had to work with. The bed was good. I don't know about the t.v or internet because there was a power outage from 8 pm to 2 am.

Room was clean, but needs a good upgrade/update Gardens need weeding and plants flowers added etc. Exterior windows covered in cobwebs and dirty This resort could be so beautiful again (the way i remember it) needs some tlc

Dirty, unkept place inside and out!!!! I wouldn't stay again. Needs new carpet throughout. The balcony was filthy and had not been swept in years. The bathroom toiletries were used. Behind the headboards where "the plug" was …...absolutely disgusting. False advertising showing the pool and grounds being in pristine condition. I got an email 2 days before our stay stating the pool, sauna and workout facility was unavailable due to maintenance. Apparently the pool hasn't been available since at least Oct 2024. Don't waste your money if you are looking for a decent place to stay

Very dated. Very misleading pictures. Both pools empty, not been used in years. Outside pool overgrown with weeds. Rooms were dated and musty and in poor condition. Hardly anyone here. Ceiling peeling. Rooms look clean, staff friendly, bed comfy. Saw lots of deer in Haliburton. Location beautiful but Pinestone way past its best before date. If it is to survive, someone needs to invest lots of time and money in it. Too bad, it has potential to be a beautiful place but for now, it’s run down.

It's glory days are in the past. But good value for money today.

The set up of the room was good to accommodate us. The staff was friendly. Pinestone did not update Expedia or their website to say the Spa and Pool were under tenovation thus closed.

Paid through hotels.com 9/18/24. Charged an additional/duplicate $498 on 7/25/25. Disputed with Pinestone. The manager initiated a refund from hotels.com for the original price paid, $366 ($273 USD) not the second charge of $498. No one is calling me back to coreect this. Why us original price not being honoured?
