Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront

We checked in for 2 nights on May 15, so that my son could compete in the 1st Jacksonville Ironman. The Hyatt was full. After leaving our room #1404 at 0400 hrs in the morning to get to the start of the Ironman, I returned at 1600 hrs to get a charge on my phone and found the room had not been made up. I talked to room service personnel in the hallway about getting the room made up. When my son had eventually finished his Ironman at 2300 hrs and we returned to the room, it was still not made up. We did not have the patience to call room service to make up the room and decided to check out and drive 2 hours home. When I checked out at midnight, the desk clerk was more concerned about my valet parking than the room not being made up. I have stayed at a lot of good hotels over the years, many better than the Hyatt. And Hyatt’s inferior service this weekend reinforced why they will always be an “also ran” in the league of top hotels. When I sleep at home, I expect to make my own bed. When I stay with Hyatt, it would be nice for them to make my bed. If they want me to make my own bed they just need to let me know and reflect that lower service in their price Malcolm Partridge

Location was great and great restaurants

the location for what we were going to do was great.

For the money i paid for one night i would’ve expected to at least have a microwave in the room.

We’ve stayed at this location a few times and will continue patronizing this Hyatt when we visit Jacksonville. We love the location, the amenities are great and the staff is always friendly and professional. Kristi greeted and checked us in and was very pleasant and helpful.

A new regular stop on our Holistic Wealth Plannig Tour. A great river view room and an excellent staff. It has a good location.

Many thanks to the Hyatt staff for a wonderful conference experience at at Hyatt. Dawn and her team are amazing! From the time we arrived we received such a wonderful welcome. Appreciate the event packets that had all the information we needed for the event. Dawn took the time to explain page by page what everything meant. We received a great tour of spaces before the event. You are blessed to have her leading your events. She cares about the service we receive and is passionate about her job and her people. Great servant, empathetic leader. Grateful that Dawn was very active in checking in daily on what our needs were and quickly responded to any concerns or questions we had. The hotel staff was friendly and timely with setting up the rooms and tables daily. Many thanks to Caitlin our concierge and the friendly staff at the market place. Tyrone is a gem. Met us with big smiles and always asking if we needed anything. Marius, was another friendly face. Very engaging and helpful. Christy and Adam at the front check in desk was also wonderful staff members to meet upon checking - very helpful! Overall great experience for our conference this past week. Highly recommend this venue for any and all events. Additionally my room was clean and housekeeping staff were friendly and quick to help with my needs. The food at the hotel restaurant on the 2nd day of arrival was hot and delicious. I would only say on a downside that the room service is overpriced and it’s better to eat in the hotel restaurant or restaurants nearby. The cafe staff was very friendly and provided quick efficient service to all even when line was long for coffee in the morning. Overall thank you all for a wonderful experience! You are truly blessed with an amazing staff!

Car valet service was abysmal on Saturday Also no umbrellas for guests is ridiculous for a property like this

Fantastic location. From the valet, easy check in, and housekeeping, everything was excellent.

I couldn’t find anything to dislike. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again when visiting Jacksonville.
