Royal South Beach Hotel

Stay away from this place. Looks ok on the pics but the place is worth than any possible hostel... would not stay even if I get paid to stay there... dirty room with hair in the bethroom... when I saw the bed sheets was about to t... up. The room stinked.. Checked out right away and now trying to get my money back as the manager is not being responsive. Dear Expedia team, please assist in getting full refund.

on arrival there was a prostitute out of her head with her breast exposed , taking men in and out of the hotel, we saw this while waiting to park. the man from the hotel came out and said you sure you want to stay here you are not the kind of people how normally do. we didn't know what to do as the car had been taken off to park and we thought only one night. we dumped our bags to come back later , when we did the room was worst than a hostel, absolutely filthy my wife has photos. so bad we slept in our clothes , screaming and banging all night our friends door didnt close as it should. i cannot tell you how scared and how dirty it was, the night porter said not my hotel i know how bad it is. if my husband hadnt had a drink we would have left but he had 3 beers. we left by 8am . we expect a full refund on both rooms when you see the photos you can understand why.

Needs improvement, good thing it is close to the beach.

DO NOT STAY HERE. We were greeted by a front desk guy wearing a sweaty T-shirt and no words, just a head nod. Immediately I knew this was not going to be a good "hotel". They photo copy your id and carbon copy your credit card, because you know, it's 1982. He gave me a metal key to my room, which was odd. We go to room and the door is open, the deadbolt was not locked. The room smelled of sweat and urine. When we check the bathroom there is actually dry urine on the toilet and the safe had the wiring pulled out and was clearly not functional. I went down to front desk and show him the photos of dry urine and he seemed so nonchalant about what I was showing him and he pulls out a key card and says ok I'll change your room. New room has no working A/C remote so he has to go find one. We had some friends that we had to meet so we just left the hotel and ended up staying with them. We are disputing this entire transaction with our credit card.

We arrived after a long day of travel and they did not have a room for us. They were sold out and could not help at all.

No bedside light switch and tv did not turn on by remote. Otherwise ok

Hall ways were filthy. Room was dirty and run down. Shower had mildew on walls. Window sillls were dirty. Yukkie place.

Place not only look good and is clean but it smells nice too! Staff are great and will go extra mile for guest. The in-room fridge is the only thing these guys need to change and then they'll be perfect. (It is full of over-priced goodies with NO room for your own medicines or water or stuff.)

This hotel looks nothing like their pictures. Not only did they not have us in the room we reserved but it is dirty and run down. Plus the first sign we saw was to tell us water would be turned off between 10:00 and 1:00am. The guy at the desk wasn't friendly at all. Would not recommend this place, we went somewhere else.
