Grande Denali Lodge

Comfortable bed, clean room, wonderful view. Good place to stay if visiting Denali national park.

Hotel in posizione con vista spettacolare, stanze ben dimensionate , nono abbiamo usufruito dei sevizi proposti che comunque erano vari e ben gestiti

La stanza viene pulita solo su richiesta, il ristorante seppur buono è molto caro, colazione 33 dollari a testa e piatto di pasta 37 dollari. Se non siete auto muniti dovrete utilizzare il servizio navetta per fare qualsiasi cosa ( credo a pagamento), la struttura è in una bellissima posizione ma difficilmente raggiungibile a piedi. It was lovely with lovely views.But it was not meant for 80 & 90 yo's, which we were. The loose gravel pathways were dangerous for my 90 yo husband and even for my 80 yo self. Dinner wzn't impressive but that might have bn due to oiu concerns, plan to shorten our stay & need to make chgs to oure reserv'ns.

Location was very good - perched up on the hill, made for lovely views.

Food was overpriced for the quantity and quality at the Aspenglow restaurant.

The amazing thing about this hotel is that it is 5 minutes from the entrance to Denali National Park, which is what you are paying for. Otherwise, it is a similar to a generic standard hotel, there's not much dining options except for a coffee shop with limited food in the morning and a super fancy restaurant in the evening. If you want anything in between, you need to drive or take their shuttle, it is not walkable to other parts of the town.

Up a big hill. Winding dirt road. Very expensive restaurant. Very expensive laundry facilities.

You can’t beat this location! Views views views! It’s also 8 minutes from the Denali National Park entrance, as well as a couple minutes to downtown for shopping and dining. We also appreciated being able to dine on-site at their restaurant (more great views). Rooms themselves were modern and clean. Good water pressure. Watch for the funny road signs on the drive up to the hotel!

Unbeatable location in Denali, perched high with breathtaking views of the mountains and the valley with downtown Denali below. Road up has hairpin bends and funny road signs which make it memorable. Staff were hardworking and helpful in answering questions and held our luggage while we got a head start in exploring Denali. Room was comfortable, laundry ($5 each for washer and dryer) and hotel shuttles were very convenient to the park. Alpenglow restaurant had good atmosphere and food, but pricey which was expected.
