Good amenities, space, everything was clean and maintained

Bayshore rooms felt a little tired. Huge room, tiny bathroom. We went Easter weekend and it was absolute chaos especially for the activities that were held. It was nice just a little bit “full”

Overrated resort. Money grabbing opportunity. Very few amenities. Most of the ones advertised as amenities are basic. Will never go again.

There's a free activity to do with the kids. We loved the super dog show. It was fun!

Coffee is too expensive. $4 for the small size

Great big property with a lot of different options and very nice with kids (treehouse, pool, …). A lot of activities proposed and loads to do in the area.

A bit old, some parts of the property could really be refurbished. It gives an old-fashioned look :)

Room was clean for the most part

I didn't like that I called the front desk about kids running around the hallways past 9pm and slamming on doors I know kiddos are just trying to have fun but they said they would send a security guy but the hallway running and door slamming didn't end till around midnight I also called twice and hour after my first call Also no microwave in the bayshore room

We were really excited for our stay at Deerhurst Resort and booked it for March Break as a family getaway. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to expectations. On our first morning, we had water coming through the ceiling from the room above. We understand that things can happen, especially during a busy time like March Break, and maintenance did respond very quickly, which we appreciated. However, the follow-up from housekeeping was extremely disappointing. We used all of our towels to clean up the water and placed them in a corner of the room. Despite calling and stopping by the front desk multiple times, it took five requests over two days before we finally received fresh towels—and only after waiting at the front desk in person. In the meantime, we had nothing to use for showers. The wet towel pile was never picked up. Additionally, when we arrived, there was food left on the floor from previous guests. During our 4 days the small garbage bins filled. We asked at the front desk for housekeeping to address this, but it never happened, and we ended up taking the garbage out ourselves. Aside from these issues, the resort itself has a lot to offer and we did enjoy parts of our stay. That said, there are many other resorts that provide similar amenities with a higher standard of cleanliness and service. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won’t be returning.

Attended beerhurst. Concert and beer fest were great. Suite was fantastic the kitchen and living space made for an enjoyable weekend.

Bad customer service. Zero help from staff to make us feel welcome. We spent over $1000 for one night stay and just didn't feel appreciated what so ever. We've been coming to this resort for years and the experience felt like a money grab as opposed to a valued customer.

Came up with my son for March Break expecting a higher-end experience for the price. Instead, it felt like a blatant cash grab. If this is the level of experience, I would have stayed in Toronto. The “kids zone” was embarrassing. A conference room with broken bouncy castles and unusable games. Calling that a March Break activity is misleading at best. The worst part was the food and service. We ordered a simple takeout meal from the Maple Pub that somehow cost $86. We were told 10 to 15 minutes. It took 45 with zero communication. Staff were dismissive and made me feel like I was bothering them just for asking about my order. When the food finally came, items were missing including drinks and desserts. My son was starving and at that point I had no energy left to deal with it. This is the kind of experience that feels completely wrong. Overpriced, understaffed, and poor quality across the board. For a place like Deerhurst, this is honestly unacceptable. Running a business like this and charging premium prices is part of a bigger problem. People deserve better than this. We will not be back and I would strongly recommend avoiding this place if you are expecting anything close to quality or value.
