Overall not bad. The family passes to the west end attractions make it worth it. Just make sure you are aware that this hotel is NOT inside the mall! We foolishly don’t check and left our winter jackets at home.. made for a cool brisk walk across the street and parking lot to get to the mall.

Great place to stay with kids wanting to be at the West Edmonton Mall. Its a quick walk across the street, provides tickets to the attractions and the rooms are clean and comfortable!

The hotel was “fine”. Nothing special. Be careful at check in, I was charged double the full amount quoted for the entire stay, plus a huge deposit at check in. It was bizarre. The front desk person was not very knowledgeable and was having a lot of problems managing the front desk alone. If you’re not planning on spending any time in the room, it’s okay, but that is the best I can say sadly. I tried to be positive, but the failure to do anything g about that check-in experience is leaving a sour taste

If I was to do it again I would pay more for the hot tub and pool, after shopping all day a nice soak in a hot tub would have been really nice. This hotel did not offer anything worthwhile, the breakfast was pathetic, half cooked pancakes, toast and cereal, no eggs, sausage, fresh fruit or muffins.

I would like to take a moment to recognize the incredible team at the West Edmonton Mall Inn here in Edmonton. I’ve been staying at this hotel for over 20 years and I can honestly say that every time I walk through the doors, it feels like coming home. There’s something truly special about being welcomed so warmly, even when my visits are only once or twice a year, the team still recognizes me and that personal touch means more than I can say. The staff are consistently amazing. A heartfelt thank you to the front desk team, Misbah on nights, Maria and Pareemjet on mornings and Shubh on evenings, for always being so welcoming, professional and kind. I would also like to recognize the outstanding housekeeping team, Kerstin….who always remembers my name. We both light up when we see each other….he’s so kind. Then there’s Darwin, Mohamed, Nathaniel, April, Olena, Denise, Maria T., Maria M., Husniye, Svitlana and Suzana. Your hard work and attention to detail never go unnoticed and are truly appreciated. A special thank you as well to James in maintenance for everything you do behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. I sure hope I haven’t missed anyone and apologies if I did…..because it’s the people who make the experience and this team continues to go above and beyond year after year. Thank you for making every stay feel like home.
