Elstead Hotel

I had a lovely few nights stay at the Elstead Hotel....The staff were so friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome. The hotel and staff have a cosy, family feel to it which made me feel very comfortable. I have already recommended this hotel to my parents, who are looking to go to Bournemouth for a few nights and i would definitely stay here again...thank you for making my mini-break so lovely. The room was really good and spacious. Breakfast was ok. The only down side was I was supposed to have a £10 drinks voucher available at the bar. Sadly the bar wasn’t open on both times I tried.

Convenient

Simple ,clean hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice 20 min walk on coast road into Bournemouth. Hotel let down by very dated decor. Pine furniture and decor from the 80,or 90,s. In need of a modern overhaul

If you're a fan of 80's nostalgia, then you'll love the decor. The hotel looks a little tired and past it's best, but it's very clean with comfortable beds, plenty of free onsite parking and the service was impeccable from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was very basic with not much selection, but can't really complain at the very reasonable price we paid. Great location, great service and a great price. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I'm in the area.

The hotel is a little worn visually and a throw back to the 80s, but impeccably clean, with comfortable beds and faultless service. Would highly recommend.

The Elstead cannot be described as a luxury hotel but if that was what is wanted younwould need to pay considerably more in the area. Our room was a good size, clean with a settee, for WiFi and tea and coffee making facilities. Two smalll negatives a tiny Televion about a 15 inch screen and poor bed pillows The bathroom was modern with bath and a shower attachment. Hot water. Breakfast had a limited choice was basic but adequate. One big plus point free parking. Bournemouth Station is about a 8 minute walk away. There is regular bus service every 10 minutes into Centre Bournemouth which takes 5 minutes. We enjoyed our stay here

I thought the hotel needed some refurbishment but the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and made my stay very enjoyable.

Everything is excellent about this property. I will visit again.

Good value for money. Nice friendly staff. Parking. Clean rooms.
