Cleanliness nice location and walk to Keswick

Good price, great value for money, comfortable and well equipped room, staff very friendly and helpful. great location with short walk into Keswick centre.

Hotel is a bit tired and dated (but prices reflect that and not a problem for an all-male group of friends!).

Good location. Short walk of 1 mile into Keswick with all of its amenities. Good proximity for walking Catbells. Its a hotel so there is a bar and food available. The staff were very friendly. Kitchen was good with most things you need.

The apartment we stayed in Brandlehow had issues with the central heating and the radiators didn't work so oil filled electric heaters were provided instead. The shower pressure was poor and came out as a trickle but was uncontrollable and scalding hot. So it was better to have a bath.

Really friendly staff, very helpful. The apartment was large, well equipped, very clean , plenty of crockery. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was very clean and tidy. Plenty of towels. Great location, fantastic grounds to walk around

The parking was a touch pricy

Location is fantastic- room was a great size- clean and tidy-all staff friendly and very helpful. Hotel is under new ownership and they have renovations starting- will definitely return once it reopens next year

Not really a dislike but Slightly dated and obviously in need of decorating etc which is about to start- but couldn't fault the cleanliness etc. Having to pay for parking in hotel car park when youre a guest seems a bit unfair but prices are fairly low

Cleanliness , the bar shut at 10 and the food was both limited and awful

Breakfast was adequate, food was nice and hot.staff are all very friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Keswick , icing on the cake was a small pub within walking distance which served homemade food. Kitchen in the apartment was well equipped, clean and had lake view. Garden is lovely and can walk to the lake from the back of the hotel. We were informed the hotel will be closed at end of the month for refurbishment, will definitely go back and see the difference. Staff were all friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Bathroom can do with an upgrade.
