I truly enjoyed Aneisy at the front desk and the cook at the restaurant, I am sorry I forgot his name. Aneisy was so kind and sweet. Every time I asked for more towels or coffee pods/ creamer she was so helpful. She was nice to talk with from anything of my day to local restaurants. She was always smiling and interactive while I was in the lobby or eating at bar. A true gem and great employee you have in her. The cook was also so friendly and kind. He was easy and nice to talk to while relaxing at the bar. He even taught me Spanish and told us stories of how McAllen was back in the day when he was young. Another gem and great employee. I loved all the Halloween decorations that were done so well by the manager. It made me and others smile as we walked in. Everyone was talking about how they enjoyed seeing the decorations. Overall your staff made my work week so much nicer and I’m glad I chose to stay at this hotel. 😊

The chef Maria Gomez was such a sweet chef and the food was so good and she makes it with intention! She also greets you with a smile.

Mrs. Gomez the cook during the morning, cooked fantastic hash browns, eggs, and pancakes. Felt like a home cooked breakfast! Would definitely recommend hilton garden inn as a Great stay based off the food alone! Thanks Hilton the food is absolutely fantastic!

Great place, good food. Nice clean rooms. Amazing decorations. Candy bag for halloween. Love, love, love. Always have water around.

I highly recommend this establishment. Allison and Hector consistently go above and beyond to address any concerns my team and I have had, providing prompt and effective solutions. Maria’s breakfasts are a particular highlight- truly authentic and delicious! Finally, Carmen maintains an immaculate and welcoming lobby environment. The entire staff demonstrates a commitment to excellence that is greatly appreciated.

I used to go to this hotel all the time, but did not have to travel to McAllen for a while and look forward to staying here because it’s always been outstanding. However, it’s even better than that now! Customer service goes above and beyond, but you’d expect the finest hotels of which this is one. I was helped a lot with some business matters and restaurant recommendations by Allison and other members of the staff. Hector help me with some changes I made to my reservation and it went smoothly as did Ace. I always enjoy breakfast here as you can have a made to order omelette. Unlike other hotels, the servers take care of you and make you also feel like you’re staying at home. I give a special shout out to Matthew, Jose, Luis, and my old friend Arturo. There were two cooks that are amazing being Santana and Maria. I believe Maria is responsible for the delicious homemade hot sauce, which is much different see than what you find that many restaurants and actually more flavorful! Last day, I’ll say that this property is super well managed by Yoli Garcia. Halloween is around the corner and Yoli made sure that the hotel is wonderfully decorated. I can’t wait to see what she’ll be up to on Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Extremely clean and upkept despite its age. As an avid traveler, it is good to find this hotel keeps the Hilton prestige and standards.

Great staff! Probably the best hotel breakfast and dinner in McAllen. Matthew and John (one of the cooks) do an excellent job of making a good experience into a great one. The entire team at this location seems to really care about service!

Had a great stay at the Hilton Garden McAllen Airport. After long days of business, Rigo at the bar was an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Absolutely took the hotel experience to another level. Thank you Rigo!!

My experience overall has been excellent so far. I have a much longer stay still to finish up. Everyone has been very kind and goes above and beyond. Mr. Rigo has been a wonderful bar tender/server/cook. He goes above and beyond every time we go to dinner. If you stay here, make sure you at least have a conversation with the staff, regardless of position. All of them put a smile on my face regardless of the day I am having! It is a home away from home.
