Nice hotel and lovely staff considering climate , parking difficult in the area , food very average but plenty of takeaways nearby have stopped here plenty of times before and will in future

Check was good friendly and helpful staff, even suppling a extra heater in case. Good continent breakfast.

Nice comfortable room and ideal for trains, buses& shops

I'm mot sure if hotel is under new management but I stay there every 6 weeks for work, And by far that was the best service IV received. Great team. Was put in room 111 definetly will be requesting that room from now on.

From the moment of arrival to departure I was treated with totally professional very helpful caring understanding attitudes. I don't hesitate to rate this hotel with the highest possible ratings throughout and anyone who knows me will know I don't give out praise easily.

The Carmelite is an awesome boutique hotel, and their breakfasts are smashing value. The only thing that slightly disappointed me was that my confirmation email said that we'd get a room with a bath tub and we got a room with a shower instead. I don't have a bath at home, so I was looking forward to a soak in a tub, but I can't complain because the price we paid was really good for the room we had.

Near to Train n Bus stations. 5 minutes from Union street. Rooms were spacious. Good en suite. Lift to all floors. Beds clean n comfortable.

Great place to stay if you are making a night of it having drinks etc. Central and convenient. Loved the decor and they had some good cocktails at the bar.

We were not offered breakfast or evening meal. Otherwise a great wee hotel lots going on

The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the room we had which I believe was the deluxe room was beautifully furnished, clean and had a lovely bathroom! Definitely will stay again. Breakfast was lovely!
