Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Wautoma

Very dirty. Rooms smelled terrible. Like the carpet had never been cleaned. I know it’s pet friendly but this was beyond that. There were bugs coming out of the a/c, which we couldn’t even have on because it smelled so bad. We paid for 2 nights and left after 1. The lady serving the continental breakfast in the morning was BAREFOOT.

The room was not very clean. Who knows what on the walls. Black ring in the toilet. Dirty lamp shades.

The room was very nice and the pool hours were long. We had the suite with a kitchenette and it was very nice for the price. Very nice front desk people and the dry cereal, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, coffee and juice and especially the make your own waffles was a very adequate free breakfast. Right across the street a dollar tree across the street, Culver’s right next door, McDonalds down a few blocks and A&W too. Kwik trip and three or more other gas stations within a few blocks.

The lady's at the front desk are really helpful, good customer service, friendly and gave the hotel a very warming environment. The pool was actually warm and able to swim and enjoy.

Opted here over other nearby cheaper options that had sketchy reviews. Called ahead and asked about early check-in. Was told ok if a room was ready. Got there 9am and got a room! My wife worked remote. Good wifi. I went fishing. Although dated, room was clean and comfortable. Decent tv channels and everything worked as it should. Beds on the firm side but we like that. Second day room keys stopped working and they gave us housekeeping keys that worked. Pool and hot tub were nice too. Overall very accommodating as you might expect in a small town. Definitely would stay again. Thanks to Jenny and Crystal.

If I could give it 100 rating I would. Efficient friendly check-in process. Room was immaculate. The whole building smelled delightfully clean. Great kitchen with coffee supplied. Comfy rooms and wonderful beds and bedding. Plus a nice little balcony.

Very outdated and rundown

I would not recommend staying here. My family stayed here a couple weeks ago and the air conditioner unit was filthy and full of dust you could smell it the second you walked in. The bathroom door handle was ready to fall off. Then my family was expecting breakfast but there was hardly anything there we had to go to a local restaurant just to get food. For the amount of money I spent I would expect a lot better.

The rooms were warm and inviting. I liked having a microwave in the room. The breakfast was good. Our room was clean. If we need anything, it was promptly brought to us. The lobby is cozy and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay at Boarders Inn & Suites in Wautoma, WI again.

Made a reservation at this hotel for an accessible room on the first floor 14 days prior, received the confirmation code. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told they had no reservation. When I showed the confirmation to the desk person, she stated that Expedia cancels when they overbook and do not tell the purchaser. This being a Saturday night, they had only one room left - on the second floor. As both I and my husband have trouble walking (use a cane), it was quite a challenge to carry luggage up the stairs, having to make 2 trips in order to handle it. Additionally, only ice machine is on the first floor requiring another trip on the stairs. Of course, no one at the hotel offered any assistance. I have used Expedia frequently when booking a hotel and have never run into this before. I have another hotel reservation in a couple of weeks and now will have to check with the hotel to make sure Expedia hasn’t cancelled it. If this is indeed Expedia’s policy, I will have to reconsider using this booking service. We were not pleased, to say the least. (Confirmation #73103503581639 from May 24-May 25. I note that the dates in the picture on this page is the wrong date. Could this have been the issue - that the hotel was given the wrong date by Expedia?)
