Crowne Plaza Cleveland Airport by IHG

Room was very clean was upset the pool wasn’t open & didn’t get a heads-up before coming since I book for the pool

We were not able to check into our room until 10PM because the rooms were not cleaned. We were supposed to wait for a call to tell us when we could check in, that never came. We finally just went to the counter and asked. The pool was closed and we were given no heads up. We booked this hotel strictly because it had a pool. There were dirty linens all over the hallways. There was mold on our wall and what looked like blood spatter on the wall. It was terrible.

Manger does nothing and pretends not to be the manager. Rooms were dirty and smelled like mold. The overall establishment is just run down. You’re better off at a motel. Showed up early to check in for a wedding block. Was told by the manager there were no rooms ready but we would be first to check in. Never called us and when we returned they had filled all the rooms in the wedding block with people not in the wedding. Never gave us or anyone in the wedding party breakfast vouchers and when we asked for refunds they always say the manager isn’t here. Overall just childish behavior on the part of the management. Had to call corporate and will never stay in a crown plaza again.

The first room had a bathtub that didn't drain. Was moved to another room, bathtub drained but real slow. Ice machine didn't work on the 5th floor. Ask at the reception if shuttle could take us to the Oktoberfest and pick us up later. Was told they can only drop off. However, breakfast was great.

I had a reservation for 2 nights. Upon arrival at 7:00 pm there were no clean rooms available. There were a lot of angry people waiting in the lobby for their rooms also. I finally got a room at 9:00 pm. The halls had dirty bedding & towels laying in piles on the floor which were still there in the am. The parking area was a bit of a walk in the dark, with no security. There was only one garbage basket in my room, without a plastic bag, in the bathroom, along with one box of kleenex, also in the bathroom. Also, not a single box of kleenex in the lobby. Getting into a room at 9 pm is unacceptable. They should have offered something to make up for it.

My room did not have a working television, the sink leaked, extremely slow drain for the tub. No hand soap only shampoo, no clock or phone. We were given another room and the tv had a green hue on every channel, no shower soap. I deserve some reimbursement

Reserved online, arrived 5 hours after check in time only to be told there were 15 reservations ahead of us waiting for the 2 queen room option. At this point we just wanted to go to bed so we took the room offered. No adjustments were made to our bill. The room was in total disrepair. No TV: missing light bulbs, broken curtains, bathroom fixtures, peeling wallpaper etc.

Check in was at 3pm… got in my room at 9:45pm. Short staffed… no clean rooms. The room had several things not working… no breakfast buffet as advertised…. The pool was not open… on my way to my room linens lying out in the hallway. It was a disaster!!
