Crowne Plaza Cleveland Airport by IHG

Nothing was in place, got here at 3 pm. Room was not ready . Went out came back and was given room 434. For about 20 mins, room door could not open. Room was change. Got to room 150. No TV. Was told that they were bringing one. Never saw it .

No this , it was a night mare. How can one pay such amount of money and be treated as a shit.

This property did not have the room I booked, I was supposed to to have a king bed with tub- I got a crappy full bed with shower, a room where the TV didn’t work, couldn’t get a drink because bartender had left,couldn’t get a meal because cook wasn’t there, couldn’t get in pool because it wasn’t open, and didn’t get a refund because Expedia CANT GET A RESPONSE FROM PROPERTY MANAGER! What a waste of time and money, ruined a special occasion for my wife and I.

WORST experience EVER. The hotel is old and outdated. ALL THREE ELEVATORS WERE BROKEN so we had to carry all of our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. When we got to one of the rooms, it was not cleaned. When we called the front desk, they refused to bring us the keys to the new room even though there were 2 employees at the desk doing nothing as they had no other customers in line. We had to carry all our bags up 2 flights of stairs because THEIR elevator was broken. THEY gave us keys to a dirty room and wanted us to walk back down 2 flights of stairs to get the correct keys and then walk back up. The female employee (I believe her name was Mari) was REALLY rude and was yelling unnecessary comments in the background while I was trying to talk to Jeremiah. They said they weren't allowed to leave the front desk but we later saw Mari outside smoking. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they didn't have one on weekends. Our television didn't work and the front desk wasn't able to help us, so we went without tv. The rooms were VERY outdated and had a damp smell.

Very clean. Close to the airport with a shuttle.

Staff was very friendly. Room was super clean and the bed was comfortable

The pool & sauna area was not useable during my entire stay. The microwave was always nasty inside & the top of it. Reported to desk but no one cleaned it. When I came back later in the evening it had not been cleaned still. Dirty linens & towels stayed on the hall floor in front of several rooms for day & half. I reported it to desk but those filthy bed linens & towels was still out in the hall when I left my room to checkout. One of the elevators stayed out of order. The ice machine on the floor out stayed never had ice when I went. I had to go to the main floor ice machine. I paid a $50 refundable deposit and I am still waiting for the $50 refund to my card. This was an unpleasant stay for my first time in Ohio. The rooms were extremely nice inside. I was hoping for a nice experience for my stay at the Crowne Plaza middleburg. I really would like to give this place a second chance if I ever visit Ohio again. Hoping that all these negatives mention are resolved.

This place is really bad. This is an old Motel 6, nothing is updated. This is not a Hotel - its a motel. On the way to out "room" we passed piles of garbage. Some were out side the rooms, but they had huge piles around the full garbage cans. The room floor looked clean, but the chair had some red stains on them. The linen had holes. It didn't smell bad, but with some of the people walking around there I wasn't comfortable leaving my car sitting outside all night. From the time I got my keys for the room to the time I went back to the desk, had to be under 20min. I let the front desk know that we will not be staying here because of the condition of the property (DON'T BELIEVE THE PICTURES FOR THIS PROPERTY). According to the policy NO Refunds will be given. If this was a $40 per night motel, I wouldn't complain, but the price was over triple that price. Expedia asked for the refund and they wouldn't budge. Expedia did offer a $25 credit for my trouble, but I am out 6x's that amount, because we had to get a different room.

Property is very run down and dirty. There was black mold in our bathroom and furniture is beat up. Doors to rooms also dont close well Also the airport shuttle forgot about us even though we booked it ahead of time. Only good thing was the staff were quite friendly

Property was heavily water damage and extremely outdated and not clean at all especially the water with nats flying around it.
