Crowne Plaza Cleveland Airport by IHG

It was a very nice establishment

Staff was very friendly at check in- and in house restaurant staff and food was good. POOL was closed. Appears to have construction inside, and a leak in hallway ceiling so a bucket with water. This place needs some updating! I paid additional $ for breakfast, but apparently their food truck didn’t deliver food. Easy parking for RV and trucks traveling through.

Enjoyed our stay ! The slide door to the balcony was a little tuff to open. Missing a light bulb Overall it was a nice stay and clean ! Police patrolled a lot thru the parking lot like it was a rough neighborhood.

No shuttle service available- booked for this reason. Had to pay $60 in taxis and hotel would do nothing to help us. They gave us breakfast vouchers but we had already added to our hotels.cim booking. Hotel was SUPER dated, dirty, and dilapidated. Thought I could trust the Crown Plaza brand but this one was awful.

Staff at front desk upon check in acted like we were disturbing him. No information in regards to our stay. It was an inconvenience for him to check to be sure we were on the list for airport shuttle the following morning. Dumb waiters were in terrible condition. They had 3 elevators with only one working and we were afraid to use it. Smelled like the belts were burning up in it. Whole place could certainly use a facelift.

I booked this hotel months ago. I had faith that I would have no issues based on previous reviews. The experience was soo incredibly awful I may likely never stay at a crowne plaza ever again. Likewise, I’m not sure that I will ever use booking.com again based on how awful this experience was. 1) not able to check in on time -(prior to concert I was attending) - even though it was roughly 5pm (2 hours after checkin time) 2) we were told when leaving for our concert, we could check in after 3) arriving back at 1am - many people were not given a room. I was only given one because someone unexpectedly canceled 4) promises to receive a phone call/email to discuss partial refund due to inconvenience- but no response to support this from Crowne Plaza or booking.com

So, it was like the twilight zone where no one was working. When we first got to our roomI noticed that the toilet was running and then it started leaking. I tried to call down to the desk five different times to report it and no one would answer the phone. Then when we went downstairs to the restaurant again the twilight zone no one was there. The TVs were on the bar was open. Just no one was working. It was the weirdest experience ever the room was clean however we had to make sure that we didn’t slip and fall in the bathroom because there was so much water leaking everywhere, but I couldn’t get a hold of a staff member to even tell him that there was a problem. The TV couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi the entire time so therefore we couldn’t even watch anything on TV. I just think this property needs a serious renovation.

Room was fine

Room was not ready at check in . Staff was unresponsive and uncooperative. There was a five gallon bucket outside my door to catch water from a plumbing leak.
